Then the Audi A7 is for you, it's Audi's answer to cars like the Mercedes CLS and BMW 5-Series GT, both of which are subtly different to the A7 in terms of concept. He is talking about writing (or printing, in this case) letters onto the touch pad. Always going to be awkward with your non-dominant hand.

This is a great car however i felt that it seems to have more in common with an A6 than the 6 series Gran Coupe had in common with the 5 series. The 6 series gran coupe also makes the driver (in my opinion, which is a dangerous thing to have on youtube) more special. However the newer A7 is an absolute beast and hands down beats any of it's rivals
i get what you are saying how it slops down and then a sharp angle but on the ford there is more after the drop and less slope

Isn't that the same engine as in the a6 which you reviewed? Because in the a6 review you told that the engine is noisy and here its "engines roar is really refined " .?
You are right about what you said.. But do your really think there's a big difference between a Polo and a A1 ? or a Golf and a A3 ?

Not gonna jinx it, but I'm currently in the seeing about a deal for one of these, 2013 fully loaded Prestige trim in white with brown interior, low mileage. Been my dream car since I was 16 and I've almost gotten a different A7 and an S7 in that 8 years, so fingers crossed this one is finally "the one"
it does look pretty good, but from my experience, a car that tries to do more than one thing is never too great. The A7 is trying to be a coupe, sedan and a hatchback at the same time. Also, where does this put the A5 Sportback?

Still can't get used to that backend. Reminds me of some 70s car. I have an Audi, but here I choose the 6 Series any day.

@Muhlineks Fastback has nothing to do with functionality only aesthetics. Totally different. This is considered to have 5 doors like a hatch back, a fastback would have 4 because the glass would not open with the trunk.

Audi makes great cars....the only complaint is the easily scratch-able instrument panel glass(plastic).

I think there is a new a6 on the market... wich one whould be better? a7 or a6? I don't think that there is much difference in the length of the car!

Although I prefer Audi overall (at least for now), I think MB coupes are a bit more iconic. The last generation SL550 was simply amazing... current one, not so much. For sedans though, Audi's an easy win in my book. A lot of this is just preference though, all German luxury cars are well built machines, no need for fanboy wars imo. But that won't stop me from saying who I prefer :P

@IPGAuto in the same way that an alfa is a fiat and a porsche is a beetle, still looks and feels pretty special though dont you agree?
@Muhlineks While they may be true on some cars, not all. The CL, CC are of the same genre but referred to as a 4 door coupes..... Pretty stupid I know. The term fastback is not really thrown around in the industry very often anymore. Still this is considered a hatch back and that terms explains the feature of it's trunk capability and also flexibility. Calling it a fastback would not work because of that.
Care to explain which VW this is then...
Reviews would be much better if you include the price of the cars instead of saying "far more expensive". Just my opinion.

I think I will stick to my CC....much the same VW group underneath....CC was a lot lot cheaper but has about the same build quality.

This car looks so intimidating and too good to be true, it makes me affraid to buy it even if it is my favorite car. I got rid of my 2014 Volvo and 2015 A6 C7.

No, but Audi does not offer FWD V8, only Quattro All wheel drive is available with their V8 models.
Does this have bigger trunk than the A6 avant? Is it the same?

It's rear end is very reminiscent of the Porsche Panamera.
uh its actually the other way around! and sharing of parts means greater overall quality of components. under the skin they share some core components but are very differently engineered machines whose credit goes to their respectful brands

I really dont understand the driving in the righ side, there are certainly more right handed people on earth, and basically you require your skilled hand to manage the shift the stereo the maps and so, I will find it really annoying if I have to do it with my left hand,

even though the A7 is the most practicable car among the CLS and 6 series GC although the best looking is the CLS, but just is an opinion.

@randombloke10 - Porsche doesn't share 1 part with Volkswagen or Audi. NOT 1. Porsche is in a world of its own. While Volkswagen and Audi are rated the lowest in Reliability by ConsumerReports and JDPower, Porsche was actually named #1. Big difference.
i have always seen audi like a great brand with reputation but i have to admit that is a more premiumish brand oriented to technology than brands like Mercedes,Cadillac, BMW that are more oriented to sporty luxury.
@ineedapissquick is weh you own can't be the same thing as me lol The car is awesome beyond your wildest dream. Only thing that could compare to it is a jag xlr and well all wheel quattro makes it that bit more special.

Audi is as sporty as the rest of its German rivals and have been making high performance luxury vehicles way before cadillac with their S-line and RS models , these days Audi really shines, in my opinion the freshest best looking cars inside and out simple lines yet very elegant not trying hard, high quality vehicles :)
