These grooves have such a „simple but not simple“ swag to it:) especially with the 3 in the right hand
Thank you so much Emil! Polyrhythmic ideas are one of my favorites :)
Well done. Thanks!
Great work! Beautifully explained. Thanks for putting out such generous stuff.
Great analysis and explanation, many thanks.
great lesson 💯💯
you have great content!
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing your deep dive into creating Marcus Gilmore type beats! I love how you keep expanding the ideas about the hands over the feet ostinato in each video you make on this particular type of Marcus groove!
Each one of your videos adds another layer on how to make sense of what he is doing, such a great series!
Heyyy thank you so much for saying that! I really appreciate it! I like to pick simple ideas and expand so other people can use same approach to build, add their own sounds and stuff. I’ll take some more time to research and do more in the future, thank you for your support!
Phenomenal drumming!Ostinato with the feet + polyrhythms with the hands. I't does not get any harder than this.... of course it does, but, man, great content and drumming!
wow sound like marcus!! nice video
I really appreciate your comment! Thank you so much for watching! :)

what is that cymbal??! sounds great! great video as well!
Could you explain to me how you place the ride hand in the example 4.20-4.40?
After this you explain that you feel it in 3 and i get that…but then you demonstrate 3:2 but its a little different right?:)
Anyways nice video!
Yes I accidentally mixed dotted quarter notes and dotted 8th notes in this video, in 4:20-4:40 it should be "dotted 8th notes".
That damn UA-cam algorithm strikes again!!
Can u do one of these videos but for JD Beck 😁
Okay I’ll work on it! 😁
Thank u 🥰

At 4:41 you are explaining something else than what you played as an example before. You play 4 over 3 but you explain iit as 3 over 2 which is a completely different thing. But otherwise a nice analysis of Gilmores playing.
Na you literally deconstructed his playing to damn near a T
