@4:00 I don't know who that is, but every time I watch this film (which I've seen many times) I can't help but think: "there goes The Incredible Bullshitting Man". Caught by the camera he's the prototype of all those guys who can't admit they don't know anything.
Today's Vauxhall is just a Peugeot Citroen platform and Peugeot Citroen parts cobbled together then given a Vauxhall badge. GM made a big mistake selling Vauxhall Motors to PSA Groupe, now Stellantis. The cars today have none of the soul and passion that the GM based Vauxhalls did. I like it when Gerry wears his quilted nylon Vauxhall rallye jacket and quilted Vauxhall nylon bodywarmer keeping his cigar in his mouth all of the time. I remember those quilted jackets and bodywarmers in the 70's, a lot of men wore them, and they'd come with various oil / car and motor manufacturers badges and stripes on .
What a great era then.
Characters like Gerry Marshall really helped carry the public
What a great era and great driver and character
Vauxhall all the way

Baby Bertha, Big Bertha, Gerry Marshall, Bill Blydenstein, Coburn Improvements, great days sadly no more.
What an honest Man the team owner was for Vauxhall., compared to the ego driven arseholes as Managers today in Motorsport....yuk
