Jeana's DermaDisc Facial Protocol
1. Cleanse the skin using the appropriate active cleanser for your skin type. I like Botnia Renewing Face Wash. Lactic acid gently loosens dead skin cells.

2. Allow the skin to dry thoroughly. Twenty minutes is optimal so that the skin is completely dry.
Using either the Fine or Medium disc, hold the skin taut while you use gentle movements to remove dead skin cells.

3. Apply Botnia Essential Enzymes to the skin and spritz with Botnia Twelve Hands Hydrosol.

4. Using the fine disc, complete another round of microdermabrasion.
5. Rinse well using an AOS Lush Cloth. (Free in our Rewards Center)
6. Apply NeoGenesis Recovery, Booster, or Skin Serum.

7. Apply Botnia Soothing Repair Mask. Spritz with Twelve Hands Hydrosol.

8. Using the smooth disc (keep this disc in the refrigerator for a cooling treatment), massage the mask into the skin. Do not rinse.
9. Apply NeoGenesis Barrier Renewal Cream Botnia Eye Cream(use as a face cream). You may experience light tingling that does not last more than two minutes.

10. If performing the treatment during the day, finish with iS Clinical Eclipse SPF50+ or your favorite SPF

Hi Kim, you are so sweet! Thank you. I use the unscented SEEN shampoo and deep conditioner. I only shampoo once per week and use conditioner alone on other days. I also use the Blow Out Cream and Magic Serum. Once or twice per month I do a K18 keratin leave in treatment.

How would this be for sensitive skin?
I have used it with sensitive skin using the fine diamond tip. You can reduce your pressure and the number of times that you go over each area.
What about using Tretinoin? Would you wait a couple of days after using this? Thank you

Yes, manual exfoliation helps remove those dull dry skin cells that accentuate lines and wrinkles. It will also increase the penetration of your serums and moisturizer.
Hi Jeanna. How long are you spending doing this treatment when you are not filming for YT? I think I asked this but not sure. I have heard that crystals are gentlest on the skin & to avoid diamond tips bc of the irritation it can cause (roughness on the skin). Is the derma disc a different type of diamond tip? Thank you
I do the two step method. First pass is on dry skin using the Medium grit. Second pass is with the Botnia Essential Enzmmes using fine grit. Altoghter, less than 5 minutes.
How does this compare to the other microdermabrasion pens on the market?
Because this device does not use suction, you don’t have to worry about broken capillaries, bruising, and tracks left behind. It is much safer. Rather than suction, it uses vibration. I really like it.

I use Rhonda Allison Retinol Supreme which contains a proprietary amount of encapsulated L.Retinol and Lactic Acid. I also use Emepelle Night Cream which contains two types of retinol. Here are the links.
