Bill of Rights. Read it. Setting a 10m bond will stop them from getting out of jail. Under the 8th Amendment of the Constitution you can't set higher bail/bonds that a person cannot pay unless they have met certain requirements within the crime they are charged.

Edit. This was un absolutely stupid comment I made, and I honestly don't know how I could've been in such a mindset. A hair color has noting to do with this situation, and God reminded me of this right after I left this comment my own daughter was faced with an active shooter across the street from her place of employment. She was responsible for calming her customers down " and she called me to ask what she she do. My daughter wears every color of hair that on the market, but that was the last thing on my mind whenever I knew there was a shooter trying to harm her and the other workers there. The shooter was a formal employee who blamed everybody else for his mistakes besides himself. He ended up just taking himself out, thanks to the great. Work of the police officers and the quick response of the management my daughter being her. I apologize from the bottom of my heart to anybody who I might have offended by this comment.

The gun only offed himself because the police had actually kept him from reaching her. Yeah are absolutely correct. I had no right to say anything so stupid in my life. My heart goes out to the family but I'm still wondering why no one was watching her and making sure she was home
At her age, I had two parents who were around, and STILL would manage to sneak out at night with the neighborhood kids (in the beginning of the '00's) to hang out, go see a boy, whatever. Her mom was probably exhausted from work, Jocelyn wanted to be a preteen girl and see a boy or friend or whoever, and her life was taken from her. No one's fault except the two perpetrators.

It was nighttime her mom assumed she was sleeping. Kids are extremely sneaky. I was a teenager who snuck out so I can attest to this.. teenagers just having a mind of their own and thinking they will be OK….

This could have easily happened to me when I was her age. I just got lucky. But stop expecting a 12 year old brain to function at the same level as a fully developed, adult brain. And also, she is not the mother's only child. Don't you realize how easy it is to sneak out when your parent is exhausted and knocked out from dealing with your siblings all night? Not that hard.
