RIGHT now am studying BSC [ MATHEMATIC AND CHEMISTRY] So means that i must take PHD OR DEGREE IS FINE
Hi Bonginhlanhla, if you are doing a BSc in Mathematics and Chemistry, I take it that those are your majors. Then you can choose to do a postgraduate degree in mathematics or chemistry, depending on your final year results. If you choose the Mathematics route, an honours degree will be sufficient for you to get a corporate job in data science or quantitative analysis or any of the jobs requiring mathematics.
Hi there I just completed my Mathematical Statistics degree from UP. I have been unemployed for 5 months, please help. I have been applying everywhere.
Philippines?
Sorry Dr Ben
Has the community Started? I want to spend Dec holidays learning Data science/ Analysis skills
Prof💯
😁
How credible is a maths and stats degree from unisa? I'm considering doing it there and do my honours at wits/UP. Can I also write actuarial board exams if I have the unisa degree?
It’s credible and yes you can write them
@@thatomothoagae7939 you won't get any exemptions through UNISA as they are not an ASSA accredited University with a designated Actuary , go and check the requirments to become a student member ASSA's site
It is highly credible, I recently graduated in the same degree (BSc degree Mathematics n statistics) after 4 months landed a good job at Discovery. So don't listen to all the noise saying Unisa qualifications aren't credible. All lies!!!!
What matters is if you can pass that actuarial board exam.
I'm also a math major at UNISA and looking foward to do a BscHons Mathematics at UP
Im currently at unisa studying math and stats
11:02 Ben seems so happy 🤣😭😭
do they apply to diploma in mathematical science too ?
Yes.
Are you studying dip in Mathematical Science?
😂😂❤
