- Virtual walk in central Stockholm. Buzzing street life from Stureplan to central hall where the Nobel Banquet is being held. A light snowfall, pretty lights, in time for the last light show on city hall, I’m pretty happy about this walk I admit. And a sneak peek inside with the master minds and Royals - do you think I will get away with it?

It's magical. I was in Stockholm in prehistoric times (1982). It was beautiful, but now is stunning. I like your glimpse into the Nobel Prize award ceremony. I wasn't invited either!!!😭🤪
There’s obviously been trouble in the post office… Stockholm has changed a lot, particularly Södermalm I would say, but some areas remain the same.

Beautiful walk ❄ I went to that cinema in Hötorget. Love the area around Drottninggatan and Sergels Torg.
I think the blue Konserthuset is pretty, that adds to the area!

I have a question: these very unique fences around houses in the swedish countryside ... how and why you guys built them this way ? I'm Polish, and never seen anything like this. It fascinates me. Will be grateful for the explanation 😊💝
Well, it’s the traditional way to fence in animals etc. it’s called gärdesgård. My guess it’s a matter of using what you got, in our case lots of spruce.

@@StockholmWalks сейчас не сильно холодно, - 17 всего. Сейчас не такие холодные зимы в Западной Сибири. А вот в Восточной части, в Якутии, там жесть. В некоторых местах достигает до -55 иногда.

The Nobel awards are an inspiration for all the world - people of Sweden - please do all you can to keep them from becoming POLITICIZED !!!
Well, it’s not really the people of Sweden in general that are in charge. Or Norway if you’re talking about the peace prize. I do love how it’s an opportunity to give awards to people fighting for freedom of speech, human rights etc. This year’s winners Ales Bialiatski, the Ukraine Center for Civil Liberties and Russian Memorial seems like worthy winners.
