Got lucky enough to meet them yesterday, they were the opener for Motion City Soundtrack. I love how fun and chill they were, they treated me as if we've been friends for years. I was signing along to their song, living in my own little neurodivergent corner, when I went to buy merch, both Nathan and Becky remembered me from the crowd, thanked me for my energy and then after asking for permission, Becky gave me a big hug.
I felt like I was home after a long battle, looking forward to seeing the band again!

Nathan Gray and BSF were such a massive formative influence on me in 2001, a tiny lonely creature in deepest rural Australia. My staunch leftist views and the courage to be true to myself in the face of all opposition which led me to gender transition in the '10s and a new life starting my own band on the other side of the country can, in large part, all be traced to the fateful day i stumbled across the one copy of Tomorrow Come Today my tiny hometown cd store ever saw and fell headfirst into it. To see them out here in '23, still making that same crucial positive noise and owning themselves more deeply than ever is a thing more powerful than i will ever be able to express. Thank you. Thank you!
Tomorrow Come Today meant a lot to me as an 18yr old joining the anti globalisation and anti war movements in the UK. I've been a trade union and climate justice organiser now for 25yrs. Solidarity to you comrade ❤

I just discovered this after randomly falling into a BSF live rabbit hole and noticing a difference from Nathan's presentation. I haven't been this excited about a band a long time. As a punk/hardcore fan who is queer, this gave me so much life!

He and this crew has arrived at such significant stage of life here and now and it’s like meeting back up with your favorite child hood friend and long lost family. From the initial records comp in the 90s when I discovered his voice to his current work and message from the bottom of my heart much gratitude!
