Well the way I see it is as soon as i go for an arm in guillotine, people are smart enough to beat my legs and get and von fluke me. But now with this setup as he passes to the "right" side to defend the arm in Guillotine I have to have a chance to shoot a darce! This setup is pretty slick! I can't wait to get back on the mats! I'll probably get smashed my first time doing it lol but like anything it takes practice.
lol i'm studying to teach my 6a tomorrow right... researching some neat darce stuff. come across Glover "give them your side, elevate your arm".... ... every coach like 'okay class so yes, but uhhh generally for the most of yall probably not YET.. also please stop watching glovers videos" haha jeff is the man.
yeah was kinda what i was thinking, surely most people would go for the seat belt and back take, which would also give the arm triangle if they try and turn back in.
Jeff is teaching this a exaggerated for the camera. In actuality it’s way more subtle. You can watch him hit this on Robson Moira at adcc 2011 and Geo Martinez at adcc 2015. Those are more realistic examples of what it looks like live.
Andre I just watched the whole Geo fight and didn’t see it. Geo won by decision after a slam. I saw something that MIGHT be close to this but it certainly didn’t get to a submission. I’ll watch the other one later. I’ve known he was a freakin monster forever, I was just questioning this particular strategy.. most things I watch on here I can implement, but this one seem like a fraction of his actual game (usually they give the what if’s and Dos and donts, especially when the gaps are so obvious).
nice set ups, but the finish / strangle itself, is missing out on some very important details / doing some things wrong (or at least far less effective than they could be)
I’m gonna get smashed trying this Thursday night lol.
Was thinking the same thing 😂😂
Definitely 😂😂😂

J-Gloves needs to do a DVD with techniques for the double-donkey guard pull.
Your prayers have been answered brother
That darce set up is slick.
This is like a boxer putting his hands behind his back and sticking his chin out...then slipping a punch and KO'ing his opponent. So cool.
Jeffee Glover
OMG, 14th comment!! Love, love, love Bernardo! I'm a blue belt, gonna try this on an unwitting brown belt....and then I woke up from getting smashed.
Sneaky, and very effective! Thanks
Many thanks!
Gracias professor🙏
Jujitsu grandmaster move!! 🔥
Love this! Super sneaky
Legend!
When will this series be released?
Why are none of his videos available? I have gone to the site twice now for DHG and Darce, and no content available.
Bernardo I loveeeeee your videos bro!! But when the Muppets come with an new movie you gotta play Kermit the 🐸 lmao 🤣
Been looking for a trap for the smash passers at my gym.
Fuck yes!
my partner decided to run around me and take the back instead lol.
So... if they guy doesn’t body lock, but does anything else lol like immediately slams you into a head and arm choke.... then what?

Vorador47 Agreed.
