Welcome back to another video, on this adventure we are on a Bass hunt! It was fished over 2 different nights one after the other. We fished both nights on Hayling Island in the hopes of catching some bass. Both sessions were pretty tough to fish due to the tides, wind and rain, but we managed to fish through in both evenings. I caught a fair few fish in these conditions and the best of the fish being a 45cm Bass which was our target and a lovely unexpected 8lb 12oz thornback ray.
I hope you all enjoy the video and please give the video a like if you enjoy it, even a subscription if you haven’t already 😬

I got out on Wednesday just off the smaller of 2 piers outside the harbour and all I had for bail was sound sandeels I preserved earlier this year cuz they were sold on everywhere so I salted a defrosted pack at the end of a session and I was just single hook scratching rigged hidden behind car parked on the pier side, anyway I had a small coalie on but lost him coming up the pier side, also missed a take but for a 1 hour session I was chuffed just to be out.
Great content as always.
Coalie? Was that Eastney pier, it was more than likely a small pollock if it was there . But well done for getting out 👏
Castletown outer harbour isle of man, it could have been a Pollack I agree but it's a bit of a coalie hot spot into the winter months, we'll never know but I was actually most pleased about the bait doing its job cuz it's only 2nd time I've tried salted my own sandeels but it's worth it for how expensive 10 small eels are, £3.99
