There's a large roll of deflated bags/dunnage that is fed into a machine that inflates them. The machine inflates them at the same rate that you use them.

The screen tells you what box to build first and how many items to scan, a chute is lit up that has the color of your station which is where you grab the amount of items shown.
I could do this for hours because I love seeing what other people order and I could just turn my brain off. But I’m working at a reverse logistics facility and my job is customer returns. Start august 12th so I have no idea what I’m actually doing.
Once every product within a shipment is scanned, the SP00 barcode is scanned to couple the parcel to the order, allowing the Scan Apply Label Manifest to verify the packaging and then print out the actual shipping label
How do they know which item to put in the box? I know that the totes sometimes have more than one item. So how do they know which item to put in the box?
Orders with multiple items are done completely separate from the singles packing process, rather they're packed in "rebin carts" under the Multis process. The totes with multis are given to rebinners, who are instructed to match the items to specific grid-like "slots" on the rebin cart, so then the packer can pack from each slot, usually starting from the left slot in the top row (or from the bottom if you're a second packer to scan that cart while another's already working on it)
@@derraquick3157 That's only true on a literal level if you use PackApp to pack a "Mix" cart, which over in my FC are only supposed to be used by rebinners. They take the "mix" cart along with a clean (empty) rebin cart, scan products then they're told what slot of the rebin cart to put each one in, which are separated by visual dividers. In "Multis" mode, packers are told what "slot" to take items from and what items to scan (which 90% of the time should all be in that slot, assuming rebinners did their job right). However in "Mix" mode, packers are told to pick an item from the tote, scan it, then they're (inefficiently) told what other items from that same tote to scan.

I'll answer these questions for ya so our large box for me at least is an S5 or 256 I believe and I've packed 45 mask boxes also robots lots of robots

You get trained your first week. It’s a multiple day thing. Mine particularly was 4 days long because I work Sunday-Wednesday 40 hours.
