    This conversation is on point. I beg though! Please do not think that Republicans are going to give you a bunch of stuff. This has to be a mindset shift. Republicans will clear the way for you to do for yourself. Removing all the bureaucracy to set you up to strive. Hardworking, education, and determination will win. We don’t work harder than everyone else because we are Black. We work harder than everyone else because we want to be successful. Period!! I love it

      Every single American today has the opportunity to succeed. The ones that don't ( black, white or whatever) are lazy and want everything given to them. If you pay attention and open your eyes, you can see successful people in all races. In business, in movies, in all kinds of jobs. Hunt is correct. The Democrats have, and still do, use black people for their on gain. And, that is why they opened the borders. Most blacks in America have opened their eyes and see the truth. So now, the Democrats must let in people who don't have a clue. Those people are being used.

      I honestly wish Vivek could fill Byrons roll (to gain trust for a presidential run) and Byron be VP though I know it can't happen.... I also know that we don't want to lose Byron's seat so that sux. I'm almost betting on Trump hitting us with someone completely unexpected that's not in seats that 100% need maintained though. There is honestly a ton I can think of that id be completely fine with that's been around/track records for some time.
      I want Vivek to prove himself in office so the voters know for a fact where he stands (without question) and come directly in hot off the heels of Trump. He ain't going to get there from here otherwise in my opinion, far to many been duped far to much in the past is why.

      @@teairrahthomas175 Oh for certain bud, don't get me wrong one of the reasons I voted for Trump is because he wasn't a politician and id personally vote for Vivek if he had been the front runner. Much like you I'm just saying what the Republican base feels.
      Yup the big pharma aspect never bothered me any but you are correct that many are sus about it. Personally I view his inside knowledge of big pharma as a possible good thing while many others would only see it as bad.
      Yeah the one "Obama speech" that was circulating around I personally felt it as sarcasm when I first heard him do it at the GOP convention and the others that was accredited as "Obama speeches' was just general line tons have used. Though I do also believe that Vivek was smart in knowing that he would have to pull in far more than just Trump supporters if he was ever to have a snow balls chance of getting anywhere near close to Trump numbers during the primary.
      I certainly wasn't no fan of Obama but when he first hit the scene fresh with his "Hope" title and ability as lets face it...be one hell of a good orator... tons that didn't even vote for him (including myself) really "hoped" that he would do good for the country as a whole after he won. Unfortunately that didn't happen but one can never take away the fact that Obama was a good orator. lol
      Only other thing that I agreed with Obama on was the fact that Joe is (and always has been) a complete idiot.

    The country has perpetually kicked the can of restitution to those who were most harmed by the institution down the road for decades. Certain families and businesses today are still benefiting from the generational that was created by slavery. A few years after slavery ended… Nope, wasn’t the right time….. and so on. One of the last surviving individuals from the Tulsa massacre was recently denied. For those new to the country, they need to understand that a wrong was committed that needs to be made right. They didn’t contribute to the national debt as it is today, but when they arrived, they inherited a slice. There was a group who were made whole with the legal end of slavery…. It wasn’t the slaves and their descendants.

      If the child abuse accusation was legitimate it would be all over main stream media. Also the rape allegation was not found. The jury said sexual abuse because they didn’t buy the rape allegation. Also this women went on CNN and referred to rape as sexy. Look up the clip. Also the law was changed for 1 year to allow her to make this allegation and the then the law was ceased. This is a very sus civil legal case. The 34 felonies means 34 separation cheques for the one alleged crime. The whole case which I watched in detail was highly flawed and should not have been a conviction. Trump has been gone after since he announced his candidacy in 2015. Many of the accusations have been found to be fraudulent but the media doesn’t highlight this except for once. So many people don’t hear the real narrative on him. People I know Trump isn’t perfect but he is not the devil he has been made out to be. An interesting fact is Wikileaks founder Julian Assange found out and leaked many things about politicians including Epstein case and when asked about dirt on Trump he said he found NONE.

    Robert E Lee is not honored for being a rebel. He is honored for setting an example to his around 90k men to accept the loss. Not run off to the hills and keep fighting a guerilla war.
    That it was time to accept defeat and move to reconstruction.
    The Union army officers purposefully desecrated his home by burying war dead around the house. His home is now our Arlington. For which he never sought compensation.
    "With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting"
    Wesley is a highly educated American. He knows all this. Whether he forgives Lee and accepts his repentance I do not know. But I do know a highly educated American of sound faith would have a personal reverence for Lincoln's calls to bind up our wounds and focus on reconstruction and healing. Whatever Wesley's thinking? I am sure it is fully consistent with the firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right (Good)
    I can understand why some Americans are emotional rather than informed about Lee. May even disagree. But the fact they do not know a thing about the real evil of progressive democrat W. Wilson?
    Who undid integration in our military and federal government. Who supported the formation of the second progressive klan.......... His rotten bones lying in our national Cathedral?
    While the post-Civil War Klan was crushed by the good Grant. So Wilson and his progressives had to bring the Klan back from the grave. His rotten bones lying in our national Cathedral?
    Who runs our centralized government schools and American black history month? There is much to be put in a proper historical place. Getting this emotional about Lee demonstrates a troubling lack of awareness.
    Again. Sage is bravely and with grace trying to keep a heated clash between men civil and rational. A real man answers the request made in good grace, of the Lord's mercy seat. A lady and certainly the mother of fellow Americans.

It's easy to manipulate data and statistics when the context is left out or only the convenient facts are presented with the inconvenient ones left out. There's truth to that saying, "There's lies, damned lies and statistics." Now, if they provide the FULL context, then fine, but most don't. That's what he means.

They condemned Trump on January 7th, 2020, but didn’t wouldn’t vote for impeachment because it was not what was best for their party.     The mammy statue question is a good one.
    The point I would like to make is that we need to remove these statues in a dignified manner not as vandalism.
    The real Congressional power Blacks “could” have is to unite like old gentlemen used to do in congress and join the aisles.
    EXAMPLE:
    Black Democrats and Republican should and can come together to pass a law that the parks and recreation departments across the land be mandated to remove these types of statues. This way both approaches could achieve the main goal and that is the removal of the dang statue. Akin to removing old dated racist laws.
    Oh, and calm down.

      Or they can put well rounded context on inscriptions in front of those statues so people can see it, read it and maybe go seek out more information. It's not all going to be pretty, but it was a long time ago. Some of those men had a lot of impact on other things. For example, in Lee's case, Arlington.. if I recall correctly, it was his estate and he had a long period of repentance after the Civil War and spoke at length about it. We don't hear about that part. I think time would be better served that way. Maybe those inscriptions would spur some curiosity and people would seek out MORE information and learn about even more of our history.
      Those men are all dead and gone. Have been for a long time now, but there are lessons that can be learned from them still.

    Cursing Elder Glenn really believes exploitation of such hurt, aggravated for political harvest to another's will, can be overcome with cogent reason alone? Certainly not without the leadership of the majority American black middle class. A reality that set Honorable Woodson to cursing like Elder Glenn.
    These fine American black men are due to more social diffidence based on their accomplishments and the b lls to show up. Sage is due far more respect for her strength in her femininity (and accomplishments.)

Of the 12.6% of United States residents who identified as Black, around 10.3% were "native Black American" or ethnic African Americans, who are direct descendants of West/Central Africans brought to the U.S. as slaves. These individuals make up well over 80% of all Blacks in the country. They already know.

      @@freeindeed8416 Everyone else who received some form of reparations got or is still getting a check! We know land and other subsidies is warranted but let’s secure the checks first then whatever else you have in mind will come.

      @@AdamHampton I’ve thought extensively about this and I believe that reparations should come in the form of loan rate preferences on homes, student and business loans. Also in the form of tax credits. 1000 per year individual. 3000 for black married families. Also mandatory Stem education in all schools in predominantly black communities among other things. Maybe a one time 1000 payment for all black Americans. Additionally I’d call for the federal abolishment of all public housing which has created generational poverty in black America
