The actress who played Kelly from The Office invited her on her show and talked about how they were both South Indian and how the Indian community was so proud to have an Indian-American representing them in politics. Now she's African-American? I haven't heard her or any news outlet bring up her Indian side again or explain how she's African-American? I wonder how insulted the Indian community must be. It was before the Joe Brown interview. Her whole history is a mess. Even if she does have a drop of black in her it's very distant somewhere on her father's side and she's never claimed it until now for obvious reasons. There are way more black voters than Indians, though Indian Americans are the highest-earning Americans in the US. She's either going after money or votes and this time, it's the votes that matter more.
