So I'm about 25 hours into ghost of Toshima and you know what? It looks and feels like an awesome Japanese Samurai game set in fudel Japan. It looks feels and plays exactly how I would imagined it would.
But when I saw Ubisoft's trailer of the new assassin's Creed game set in fudel Japan I couldn't help but seeing the striking disconnect compared to the game I'm currently 25 hours into. I mean, I'm definitely not looking for historical accuracy here, but wow. That trailer was nothing like I had hoped for and expected. Experiencing the game that I'm playing now and looking at that trailer, I'll just say this to Ubisoft.. GOOD LUCK.
And this is coming from a person that absolutely loves the modern assassin's Creed games. Started playing when the first assassin's Creed came out in 2007.
Maybe Ubisoft needs a crash course in samurai etiquette from Ghost of Tsushima! 😄
Assassin creed shadow is different game of ghost of Tsushima. Yes both in Japanese century, but shadows play two different player

Tsushima and Shadow are in different eras in very different parts of Japan, altho I much prefer having one Japanese male character that can play as a samurai or an assassin.
Never pre-order from Ubisoft let em drown in their own shit.
Ubisoft should consider adding a "drowning in their own shit" DLC for pre-orders, maybe that would make it worth it!

First of all, while Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing game, it isn't better than AC overall. It's way better than Valhalla I will say tht.
But Black flag the GOAT? 🤣😂 Lord. Black flag is the most overrated AC in the AC franchise. Best AC is Brotherhood. Facts!!

My head canon is Jin Sakai is the first unofficial Japanese Assassin. Also since the Mongols invaded Japan not long after the Mongol destruction of Masyaf that caused the Assassin Brotherhood to scatter into different regions of the world it makes sense.
Ghost of Tsushima will always top AC Shadows, I can tell and it’s not even out yet

@@BlakwoodzPerhaps I was harsh to Shadows. I just really love Ghost of Tsushima. I do want Shadows to succeed but from what I’ve seen, I don’t know if it will. Maybe Ubisoft will prove me wrong.

I played GOT, the combats good, the story is intriguing but. I found myself getting bored quick

I loved Ghost of Tsushima, just finished it completing all regions, and played stealth as much as I could, it is an amazing game !!. But I am 100% looking forward to AC Shadows..
Yea can’t lie I’ve tried to replay multiple times and it just doesn’t hit the same. I slept on it until last summer and shittttt it was some of the best gaming I’ve ever done. Loved everything abt and story driven games are my thing so with this 10/10 storytelling I was hooked. Idk though I just haven’t been able to fully immerse back into it and I’m actually sad abt tht😭😭
Honestly I really didn't connect with this game on launch, but once I started playing it again.. I just can't stop now!
People saying ghost is way better but forget how just simple the stealth is. AC shadows stealth looks much more engaging.
Ghosts may be cool, but shadows have that mysterious allure. Stealth mode activated!
Ghost set the standard so incredibly high, I'm looking forward to GOS2. I'm going to give AC a look when it comes out, but I'm not a Ubi fan besides Odyssey and Valhalla.i did absolutely love Odyssey, Valhalla was great too. Is black flag worth a play?
Black Flag is like the hidden treasure in the AC series, definitely worth sailing the high seas for!
Assassin's Creed shadows versus Ghost of tsushima let me say this ghost of tsushima is a classic already in my book from gameplay story this thing was crafted for guys like assassin's Creed shadows to look up to you as a big brother and right now I do not see 🙈 true passing of the torch assassin's Creed shadows is a good game I looked at it and said it's something I will play most definitely that when I played ghost of tsushima I said to myself this game will be played until next generation after next generation it is a classic in my books 📚
GOT is a good game but its overated asf and not like AC at all except setting. Its obly because they did this setting before Ubisoft did and people are mad and run off their juices saying this game is all ofna sudden the best thing ever.

This is the western perspective of AC franchise so just play any version of ghost of tsushima in any gaming platform
Why choose between the AC franchise and Ghost of Tsushima when you can enjoy both for a diverse gaming experience?
In ghost(and in japan)deer are sacred and you cant collect their pelts,bears and wild bors insteed you can kill and collect the pelt
So, deer have VIP status, but bears and wild boars are fair game? Sounds like they need a new PR manager!

Only assassin creed game I thought was close to ghost of tsushima in quality. It's origins, and I have very, very low expectations for the future of assassins creed. Quality hasnt been there. it's more copy paste extend hours for no reason.

Completed it 4 times, master the parring and stealth it becomes a 12/10
I think AC Shadows will top Ghost Of Tsushima. Because when you release a game after a hit like G.O.T. you were able to study it. Logically you make the game better with far more improvements. I think the graphic will be better and the gameplay also. Sorry for G.O.T. but AC Shadows will be the game when it comes to Samurai/Shinobi games. Can't wait for November.15!
AC shadows is bargain bin material, sorry the truth hurts but this is another star wars franchise train wreck in the making. Are any of the playable characters even japanese ?

I can't even play this game. As great a game GoT is, when it's unavailable for a lot of players, I literally can't make comparisons to all the AC games I played (all major titles). Sony exclusive for 4 years, and when it was released on PC, stupid PSN requirement and that is unavailable in ~180 countries. And these other guys could all talk about combat, but I know it's not GoT I'll be comparing sword combat to. It's Sekiro and Jedi Survivor.
I know very well that ac shadows will be just another ac origins/odessey with few changes but still I'm pretty excited after completing recently Ghost of Tsushima on pc

@@Blakwoodz You should try Sekiro.. imo opinion it's one of the easier souls game to play... It just has to click... and the game is very forgiving with spamming block
@@akarisaberwolf8762If one has played Sekiro and mastered, they'll either find other combat too easy, or unsatisfying. Maybe both. That's why while I'm hopeful, I don't set expectations high so I don't feel disappointed.

That's very true .
I have played dark souls 3 , Elden ring and Sekiro.
Three of them were phenomenal.
But now the problem is I am kind of searching for that kind of difficulty in the combat in other games. The easy combats don't satisfy me anymore .
I had to crank up the difficulty level in the Ghost of Tsushima to make it feel good.
The FromSoftware effect is very real😢😂

The Parkour will be supreme & Stealth in AC:Shadows compared to Ghost of Tsushima but I bet they won't be even close to how fluent the melee combat feels in Ghosta. Played Ghosts 4 times and really noticed how the story and melee combat is what makes that game feel so good.
Maybe we should have a parkour vs. melee combat showdown between the two games! Who do you think would win?
A lot of people talk about the graphics of this game but they seem pretty average, the landscape is very bare. Looks fun though.
Who needs fancy graphics when you've got good old-fashioned fun, right?
Funny how since they said Japan everyone went back to ghost to make comparisons but just side talk if that ac shadows comes out to be a great title what people gonna do then??? Complain it’s to good like they do ghost fun game but I thought it slow at times compared to an ac title
If AC Shadows turns out to be a great title, we might witness a whole new level of complaining - "It's too good, can't handle it!"

@@Blakwoodzi was so blown away by the world in this game that I just wound up exploring it so much that i earned my first platinum trophy. This game was relaxing to play from the natural sounds of the island to the meditation side quests and the hot spring reflections on what was going on around you at the time. It transferred over to my own personal life. It truly is such a beautiful game
Ikr, it's got the best atmosphere design and the BG Music is just a whole another vibe that just keeps you relaxed through out your playthrough
@@Blakwoodz exactly! it made me research it and I found out that they recorded the sounds of the actual island in Tsushima. I was blown away and that led me to researching other games and i do not know who thought of that first but do know that Konami ok’d Kojima Productions to visit areas of the world and they too recorded the sounds of the atmosphere. It put gaming into an entirely new atmosphere for me
I’m playing GOT for the first time ever and I’m playing on lethal and this game is amazing it makes me excited to play as Yasuke
Lethal must be taking it on a very realistic scale
I never played the campaign I played the whole multiplayer of it though I just hate riding horses in games lol
