- Chandu Bhai co-Founder of Balaji Wafers made his journey from working in a Cinema to being one of the owners of the largest Chips manufacturer in India. Based in Rajkot Family values have played a major role in making the Brand Balaji.
I thought he was an employee when he started showing the potatoes and so on. Turned out he is the owner. Such a humble guy, that’s why he’s been able to reach such heights 🙏🏼

I'm eating Balaji since my childhood and my first preference in chips is Only Balaji.. always cheaper in Price and Bigger in quantity, that's what Balaji stand for.. They have n number of products in market in wafers. If anything anytime you are feeling hungry just have a Balaji Snacks... 😍👌🏻

Oh Man, I lived in Vadodara from 2003 to 2008 and nobody use to Buy Lays or any other chips than Balaji. The Flavour and Quantity was unmatchable at that time.
Still it is unbeatable in Gujarat the chips now has 5-6+ varients and all of them are good
we still dont buy lays or any other product its Balaji everywhere even kurkure failed
i am originally from hyderabad, i was in vadodara from 2008-2010 only chips i used to consume is balaji brand ones while returning to hyderabad i bought many big packs here.
What a humble grounded man! Single handedly challenged Lays. Hats off to his simplicity.

I also had Balaji Namkeen when I was in Gujarat, it' really nice and cheaper than other Namkeen with same quality.
I will suggest Chandu bhai, that spreads this Balaji Namkeen all over India, because I am currently living in Delhi but not found this Balaji Namkeen anymore, so I think the supply of Balaji Namkeen is limited to some states of India.

Actually they have to establish plant for chips. They have plants in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh
I got it in uttar pradesh but in only few stores
Its Supply is Increasing Rapidly in Chattisgarh and replacing Haldiram Products.
If it's that good then they should spread it to other states of India. Because we don't have much options in market except lays n uncle chips. Our Indian brand should flourish.

Once I tried balaji chips and never again I have bought lays chips. Balaji chips is a slap on the face of lays chips 😄

This man is a gemstone .... He struggle for so many years failed many times but he kept on going and wiped out lays with their taste ......proud to consume Indian brand .
Even after setting up plants. He was harrassed by this international brands. PepsiCo even offer him 500 cr to sell his company. But he stood up against all and now we can see where he is

Balaji wafers have a unique place in my life, hostel days in Ahmedabad we use to have Balaji wafers and dal chawal mix (20+10) and the quantity in those chips are way more then lays. And what a story real inspiration.
