Great video. Just FYI, Break Coaching is measuring braking down to approximately 5 mph. After that, the friction brakes are used for completely stopping and holding the vehicle. You’ll notice you’ll get your grading on braking right at 5 mph. Then after awhile you’ll be so intoned with it, you’ll feel the blending:). This is also a benefit that will keep your rotors ‘clean’. Good way to get them dry after a car wash or help prevent rusting on the rotors.
I can’t control the amount of regen. Except through putting it in sport mode which is about half the amount of 1-pedal drive which doesn’t matter when you are coming up on a stop light. Because once you apply the brake pedal it will use more based on how hard you press the pedal. If you press it too hard though you will use the brake pads, hence the reason for “brake coach”
@@F150LightningMike excellent Mike thank you so much. I’m loving your videos and I’m getting more and more excited about buying hours. It seems like you can basically control it using the brake pedal itself, and the friction breaks only come to play when you push it more aggressively or when you get to the end of the region paddle travel.
Thank you for watching. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. If you haven’t seen this test that I finished recently about one pedal drive versus sport mode it might help you understand a little more about the breaking even with one peddle drive. Good points Rick. Thank you.
Mike a you dial up or down how much regen in one pedal drive you get? Like 1-5?
