Today the sun's on us will always be my favorite by her. Absolute anthem.
This album had so much potential for hits. Catch You, Me and My Imagination, Only One, New York City Lights, etc. Heck, even the b-sides were stronger than some of the tracks that made the final tracklist. Move To The Music and Down With Love are awesome!
Aww I was a huge fan around this time. I managed to get a signed copy of the album, too. I was in touch with a guy called Kaushik at the time - he had a huge collection of unreleased tracks, gems etc. If You Go should have been a single in my opinion. Something about it was just very polished and I never got tired of listening to it.
New York City lights was an absolute bop. Her label didn’t promote this album enough!
ma favourite era. This film clearly shows no pressure from her side to make a hit record but just enjoy the music. And the artworks for singles and album are soooo amazing.

Huge mistake not to release If you go and New york city lights as singles as much as I enjoy the other 3 singles. It's a good decent pop album, although I think Make a scene is her best work. Thank you for the video!

Great video again. 😁 Sophie is a very talented singer-songwriter and recording artist. Pop music needs to go back into this direction, not the overproduced songs that are all over the charts these days. There was definitely something magical about the 2000s.

If You Go and If I Can’t Dance were really the singles that got away. Today the Sun’s on Us is a good track but not a hit.
