- How to reset the wrench warning on the car. I guess there are two types of dashes in these Kias, this is the one that I was presented with when I needed to reset the light.
2021 Seltos - User Setting not on Steering Wheel. To reset my service (oil change) it was in the central console under Setup/Vehicle/Cluster/Service Interval.
Thanks..!! I watched 5 videos on how to do this, yours is the only one that worked. I have a 2021 Sorento S AWD with the 2.5 naturally aspirated engine. None of the other methods worked.. Even the other ones using the steering wheel buttons.
Thank you so freaking much for making this video!! 😊😊 Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Mine also doesn't work this way. So my trick was go to the same page for the Service Interval. When you get there my button doesn't press down, it only goes up and down. I held the OK button for about 10 seconds and it asked me if I want to reset at that time. Fix it :)
Thank you
This is what did it for me! You’re the best!!
Close all the doors and hood thats important for this car as well^ thanks tho this video helped me at work
Ty sir ! Needed this!
Sure do love that Kia has to remind you every three seconds that the hood is open even while the car isn't running
It worked! Thanks!
Good video! Thank you 🙏
Thanks so much I just didn’t hold it long enough hehe
My 2021SX turbo doesn't work that way. You have to go to touch screen and hit vehicle then service intervals. actually quicker
I have the SX Turbo as well and it is not resetting the service interval :(
There are 2 instrument clusters. Type A and Type B. Type B is known as the supervisor cluster. It has user settings. Type A does not. Hope this helps someone
@@parkayj I don't have the "gear" on my Seltos, and if I try to reset it through the LCD screen, it is grayed out...
I have the same problem on an SX turbo where I can’t reset it. This needs to be a service bulletin with Kia but the service department at my dealership doesn’t seem to know it’s a problem and doesn’t seem to care. This is a major problem imo.
@@aaronclarke1984 my wife’s Seltos is the same way and it’s annoying.
Very good, thanks!
Is there a way to check how much oil is remaining until it needs to be changed? For example you can see a percentage remaining until the next oil change on a CRV. Is this not a option with a Kia?
Not sure, I would need to check next time this car comes in.
Will not work if ANY doors are open - it keeps showing me "hood open" image while I'm in the shop, so I have to *finish everything else up first.*
This doesn't work on the higher up models just and FYI
Tried 5 videos and theyre all the same with the small cluster screen. Anyone else wondering- use the radio display, select setup-vehicle-scroll to 'cluster'
Doesn't work with the top trim level
