I agree Miata you can thrash it daily for 20-30 years it’ll never let you down or get old. Think you need some induction noise from intake, seat lowering bracket, brembos like your buddy, sticky tires, and some high end suspension like ohlins/xidas but it’s already so good as is
I agree Que. The Miata is the most fun new car you can buy. I also own a M2 comp. I've had boxsters, new and old, supra, wrx, GR Corolla. Miata is truly the best car.
Lmaoooo the way you describe your car is like you having relationship with a girl of your dreams 😂 “I think I found the one boys “ I’m here for the hangover moment
I’m in the same boat. I had a MK5 Supra, Mustang GT, Porsche Boxster, and 15+ other cars that I usually sell within 6-12 months but I’m at 9 months with my ND2 and still loving it. Got the same exhaust as you and Feal 441 coilovers so far
Man I feel like you made this video just to mess with me lol I bet you was giggling to yourself the whole time driving and filming knowing I will never know the joy of driving this car! The Audacity of you to pump fake us into thinking that it might be time to do what you normally do and switch out of the car, to then announce this might be your forever car was just like rubbing salt into the wound, then you turned up even more by saying you haven't even really begun modding the dang thing! LAWD! I was both hurt and happy for you watching this video cause I know you meant everything you said even the part at the end about me not being able to drive it lol. Sigh I guess I'll just have to resign myself to enjoying the Miata vicariously through you lol Great video brother.
I have an NA Miata that i'll probably never get rid of, and i'll probably get an ND at some point too. The experience these cars provide is greater than the sum of its parts.
Glad to hear you're sticking with the car, at least for a while. I love my 2024 soft-top Club model. I have a few mods on it (suspension, exhaust, steering wheel, shift knob, tinted sidemarkers, shorty antenna), and other than new wheels/tires, I think I'm good with it. I love it, and can't wait until the warmer weather when I can take her out again!
Have a friend who is also a Miata fan. He has gone deep into the obsession and has parts cars, LoL I can't afford the car I have now, but appreciate the zooms!
Same, I was looking at C6 vettes not even thinking about this car. The way he talks about it made me consider it. Then the right deal came along and I picked it up and I've been super happy with it
I've never even driven a fast muscle car, but it's clear to me that you get it. I own an S2000 (my third one) and I just can't imagine a more fun car. Same formula as the Miata.
Yoooo, Qeu!! Finally a car he can put a ring on 💍!! Congratulations man, the Miata is WORTH it! Excellent decision my boy! I’m excited to see what you’ll do with it!
I bought my 2024 ND Grand Touring soft top a couple of months ago and I agree with everything you say about these cars. In the past, I had a Mazdaspeed NB and a PRHT NC. I had not owned one for about 10 years now, and I am really happy with how much they have improved what was already a great car. The new style wheels are the only thing I am not a fan of. Even though there are tons of aftermarket wheels available, I really like the pre-2024 OEM wheels. I found a set on marketplace that the guy took off his 2023 with about 2000 miles on them so they have almost new tires and the tpms sensors intact. It was kind of a long 850 mile day driving from Ohio to North Carolina to pick them up, but I think they look great on my aero gray ND. My daily driver is an old V8 4Runner so unlike you, I have parked the ND until there is no more salt on the roads. Seeing you drive yours in this video makes me want to get in mine right now and drive it even though there is lots of snow on the ground and the roads are trashed here in Central Ohio. I have enjoyed your ND videos and they have me thinking seriously about a Goodwin exhaust and a GD Corsa-D steering wheel. I appreciate your videos and I am glad you are not getting rid of your ND because I am looking forward to see what you do next with it.
It has been said driving a lower power car 9/10ths is more fun than driving a high powered car 5/10ths. I almost bought a Mazdaspeed Miata 20 years ago. Came from the factory with a supercharger and had over 200 HP. Not monster power but in that car was very fun! Every generation of the Miata Mazda keeps making some improvements. Great sportscar that harkens back to the MG roadster but reliable!
Love this car. Might mod the badges to black badges to match the black body kit and bbs wheels on mine. Recently put the same exhaust on mine too. Love it.
Glad it’s a keeper! Agree with your thoughts. Also I don’t think I’ve seen the Steve Harvey show since the late 90’s but I remember the principals name “Regina” 😂
I own rf nd2 gt and I kept telling myself once I get it paid off I’ll buy a type R but after owning it for 2 years I can’t see myself selling it ever so yea definitely fun car
Currently have an ND2 and am also considering trading to something else. The issue I'm running into is that the current state of the car market is kind of shitty if I'm being honest. There's no EVO, no STi, the GR86 will be largely the same, VW is hellbent on destroying any kind of driver connection with their GTI/R, the GR Corolla seems to be plagued with a fragile clutch that lifetime manual drivers have run into issues with, I struggle to resonate with any Hyundai product, and the CTR/Type-S are just too far out of my price range as they have basically zero depreciation. I guess what I'm chasing is a modern car that has the analog feel of a late 90s or early 2000's car. I'm also kind of angry that we're STILL dealing with transmission issues, clutch issues, bad user interfaces, engine oiling and failures, for what is going to be the last hurrah for enthusiast internal combustion engines. We have over 100 years of advancement to build upon, why the FUCK isn't everything on the market as reliable and bulletproof as an old Toyota Corolla? Subaru releasing their new fake STi with the CVT is a testament to what I'm talking about. It's like all the passionate engineers have been fired or moved elsewhere in these companies, and they've put the marketing and bean counter in charge. Every great car, or line of cars, had a great visionary individual at the helm to guide the ship. Look at Andy and what's he's doing with the Porsche GT cars. Look at all the great names in history that were behind all the cars that we grew up loving and putting on our walls. Without those great leaders, we're left with whatever the corpo money-hungry automatons can crank out. I just need to keep this damned car and stop chasing novelty instead of cherishing nuance.
I really want you to drive a CT4v Blackwing manual! If you’re ever in Chicago you can drive mine. If I were to have two newer cars I think a ND2/3 and IS500 would be a nice pairing.
Miata and 86 are two of the top 10 best sports cars EVER made and two of the top 3 for sale today. Watch Evos Car of the Year 2024. It would have beat out the 911 except one of the guys gave it a very low score.
6:57 how tall are you? I’m 5’11 with long legs and I can’t stand when my knees are too close to anything. My coworker shattered his knee caps in a car accident and it has me cautious about that now. I’m gonna test drive one of these soon to find out how I fit. As always, appreciate the video!
@@QueTheChaotic yeah man, he’s 41 & has to walk with a cane now. 5’11 no shoes so we’re basically 6’ 😅 6’1 with boots Miatas don’t have knee airbags either but I’ve heard the newer Miatas much safer so hopefully no exploding knees. Glad to hear someone my size fits alright and I think there’s lower bucket seat mods that give extra head and leg space as well. Anyways, glad you found a love in this car!
I like the car. I had a 2019 nd3 in soul red. But now I have a 2024 Subaru BRZ and... I like it more than the Miata. Maybe is because I don't fit well in the Miata. But yes, it is a fun car to drive ✌🏻👍🏻
