great video bro, just had the idea and realized it was too good to be original. thanks for figuring it out for the rest of us! about how many dozen finger length shad will stay alive in it?
That looks pretty good. Will it keep threadfin shad alive as well as gizzard shad? Do you always use tap water or can you use lake water as well? Thanks
Sorry for late reply just noticed comment. It will keep threadfins alive but gizzards do better. You could use either but fresh cold water has worked better for me, the colder the better.
It looks like all the ingredients have specific amounts except the salt, unless I wasn’t paying attention. It looked like you put around 2-3 tablespoons in it
Well I tried to catch and keep shad alive and the shad I caught were American gizzard shad but in my net those fuckers keep dying after 10 seconds of getting caught for no reason just dying after swimming a couple times so I got mad and just threw one on the dock 😂 any tips ?
That’s a good idea! Thanks for sharing it out
Glad you liked it!

It's illegal to transport lake water in most states. Know your regulations.

I usually don't do an exact but Gjuice tells you on the bottle and for salt rule of thumb is for every 10 gallons 1 cup of salt.
How many gizzard shad can you put at one time without killing them
20-30 or so but if you over fill it does kill some.
How long do the shad live for?
If I don't put too many in there they last whole trip or longer but right now in the heat gotta keep water cold.

What did you put them in after you netted them?
