Cod 2024 is gulf war themed, I'm excited
Now it’s called Black ops 6
I suspect, that there will be a sudden surge on interest in Desert Storm, due to that game! And I am all for it!
@MrPolicekarim imagine in the game, you actually get meet Bush Sr. and Saddam Husein at some point.
@@josevictorionunez9312that would be dope
@audreyharris7643 considering the Black Ops series links to include historical figures, it's definitely within the realm of possibility.
My AFJROTC Instructor worked as a mechanic to re-arm the F-117 Nighthawk back in the '90s
Must have been better than being an F-15 or god B-52 re-armer
Great choice of music very nice indeed
We don’t spend $650B on our defense to come second.
I feel like this song is to the Gulf War what Fortunate Son is to the Vietnam War.
the song fits so well ong
I was a child when this war started I remember seeing footage of it in the TV
Then : Gulf War
Now : Skibidi War

This edit turns three years old today. And the war itself is 34.
Maverick and Iceman are somewhere in this video.
My dad was a usaf red horse vet and was in every major conflict from 89 to 00 and stayed in reserve until 2003 even after being in bosnia and Mogadishu etc but the most he talked about was desert storm he would never have a problem talking about it but never in a bias almost like a sports commentator he never said he kicked ass or glorified it He would tell me all the bad stuff saddam and his regime did which doing my own research years later I would truly understand the war and how the Iraqi people really just got caught in the cross fire as most of Iraq hated saddam and wanted Nothing to do with the baathist I remember one story in particular where him and his squad (redhorse being airforce engineers) were one of the first ground forces that arrived to the "highway of death" and his objective was to do a casualty report and he described going through the road of charred corpses unreal that it felt like a dream almost like a scene out of a 40k battle and then he was talking about how there was this one guy dead with his back against a car and they were doing whatever and marking the casually number and when they were heading back that guy was gone and they were the only squad in that sector and when they finally got back to base they called him zombie Hussain but I really do feel that no matter the politics for a time almost the whole world was fighting the evil instead of each other I mean you look at all the countries that were apart of the coalition I mean even Russia wanted Nothing to do with Iraq I mean the humanitarian aid efforts there were something not seen since ww2 it really was a "modern war for a modern age"

You know, my dad was deployed into the gulf war and he made it out alive. He was an engineer for the gulf war.
My dad was their. 1st armored division. He tells me a lot about. I can tell he's still affecting it even today. I just hope I don't lose him so soon from the health issues that plague gulf war vets.
The "Turn your back on mother nature" part..kinda makes sense using it like this
Impressive I always like edits
My uncle served in this war as part of the 1st Calvary division. Great man.
It's a vibe for sure.
0:26 wtf. As it was taking off there was a black line following it. What is that and how?
Mine clearing line charge, maybe?
interesting fact: this is first American war that was publicly supported by the USSR, and the countries of the former Eastern bloc sent their contingent to the international coalition.
Really? Where did u read that. That's amazing
