My fave is the last project!
Loved your explanation. Good for any young designers understand the missing points in design challenge. Thank you for going deep down to it.
Mind-blowing stuff!!
Lovin' these vids!
Love it, helps a lot!
10:28 The logo makes noise with the product. Maybe try with a smaller logo, but not touching the product and adding more transparency to it.
11:56 Check the logo font, it's kind of stylized and elegant, but the product is sporty and rough: they don't match much.
I think he could check a bit about mood boards, fonts, and what they communicate.
12:31 The mirror gets lost with the background...maybe adding some blur on the background to separate the silhouette from it...less noise, more impact :)
This is junior ?😭😭😭 it’s too good 😭😭😭
At 5:11 you mentioned the smart use of a CAD as an underlay while sketching, I would think that this undermines the skill of perspective sketching into a glorified tracing excersize. Could you shed some light on this topic?
Edit: would you recommend in-context for all designs?
Sketch in perspective or use an underlay, it doesn't matter quite as much as what you choose as your design process but the goal is to end up with a great design :)
Hi Jimmy!
I'm a Mexican recently graduated industrial designer and I've been working on my portfolio for the last 3 months. Here in Mexico is hard to get a good job in the design industry and that's why I would like to know if there is chance that you can check my portfolio and give me some feedback that could also help other young designers.
Thanks!
