The exact same thing happened to my husband. His dr non chalantely said oh, you have fatty liver, and then continued on with the rest of whatever he was saying...THAT was it. a few years later, husband is getting a test and they find out by accident that he now has cirrhosis.
@@marcie776 it's awful, I just don't get why they continually don't say anything, they are supposed to be the ones with the knowledge in health care why would they not, at least give you the chance to do something, makes me so angry
@@JULES5526 Exactly, he didn't make a big deal about it at all so we forgot about it, now my husband is decompensated...he does not drink or do drugs, this is completely from NAFD so please, if anyone tells you you have a fatty liver, know its serious and work to reverse it asap.
You need to train GPs about this condition. THEY ARE CLUELESS and the patient then suffers with late stage liver disease. I don't drink and never smoked or did drugs. WARN postmenopausal women they are at risk and don't ignore our symptoms. Not all bleeding is from "women's' issues." Sorry each life is important.
By the way I also was considered cured. But the side effects from the treatment itself continued on as though I was not cured. As I've stated above. Why did you leave us behind why didn't you see the people that were affected so terribly that we can never work again why did we have nothing after 5 years of study. They have been contending with the liver disease as well. Could be in the organs, I don't know, just assuming. I have cirrhosis of the liver myself and I feel as though it attacks my whole body, not just my liver.
