Hi, the Vector Mask link is incorrect.
😍 I simply love it to watch your straight and easy to follow tutorials, all of them 🖖🙌
OMG, Jesus - this one goes into my 'brilliant links' folder! I've used Ps/watched tuts for decades and have never seen this, and spent so much time agonizing over shadows... THANK YOU once again for another gold nugget. :-)
You're welcome, pearliecreamcheese!
I simply need to stop my works for one moment to see your videos, because they are so fantastic. Its highest levels of professionalism, are impressive.
Thanks again for share your brilliant talents with us. Sucess for you my on-line teacher!
Thank you, Marco!
Amazing how you make advanced techniques so simple!
Thank you, Gary!
Lots of great tips and shortcuts in this tutorial but using the eye dropper to select in between the planks of wood for an accurate shadow color was excellent. Jesus, you're a graphic guru and always find a way to utilize the original pixels for realism. Thank you.
You're welcome, Tommy!
Amazing...I am a newbie and spent at least 10hrs painstakingly adding shadows manually. I thought it came out good too. I can't wait to try this exercise on the same photo and compare. I am possitve...this method will be 100% better especially if it takes me the same time as this video! Thanks!!!
Your channel is becoming one of my favorite UA-cam channels. I like how you explain all the tricks in a very concise way. As you said at the beginning, the tutorial was filled with nice tips and trick. However, I also appreciate that your videos aren't filled with lengthy demonstrations of editing. It seems they are really well thought out. I have also watched your videos about masking, but I like how they were focused on specific topics. If it would be one longer video mixing all topics together, I would probably just add it to the watchlist or skip it entirely.
Thank you, Vlastislav Cech!
You are a Photoshop genius. Thanks for posting these tutorials.
Thank you, Phil!
Great tutorial as usual! Would definitely love to see one on mapping reflections onto the mics.
One of the best PS channels out there! Thank you for your selfless sharing and teaching; need more humans like that.
Thank you, Matthew!

Perfect. Thanks a lot
Thank you very much! Much needed tutorial...
You're welcome, Duran!
GREAT tutorial. I learned a lot. I do a lot of composites and I'd like to be able to use this technique, or something similar, to save the shadows from something like, let's say "grass", and then use that shadow in a new composite.
Thanks again!
Thank you! Yeah, you could do that!
Thanks Jesus, great tutorial. I'm definitely going to use these techniques. I personally struggle with making shadows look realistic when putting people into composites. Especially when the angle of light casts a body shadow. Please consider a tutorial on this or if you already have one on this subject. Much thanks.
You're welcome, Charles!

You're welcome, OORVOKKI!
No doubts, this is very useful.
Very helpful - great tutorial, Jesùs! I've used a similar technique by duplicating the layer with the shadows, and using the multiply blend mode - it works, but this has filled in a few blanks for me. Thanks so much!
You're welcome, Rod!
@@PhotoshopTrainingChannel I'm stuck at the blend mode step (3:56). Changing Blend mode doesn't affect the mask in any way. Puzzled. Any suggestions on how to move forward from there?
very professional, thank you

As long as you're teaching I'm learning. It's like your videos imply the statement "Betcha didn't know this." My reply. "You're right; I didn't" lol
Thank You.. ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome trick!
Would love to see a trick to make the background transparent, and the shadow too, so I can move to a different composite/using online without worrying about the background and having a almost realistic shadow
Great video! This saves me recreating all the shadows on cutouts. Why didn’t you teach me this years ago Jesus? Lol.
