This is one reason why I'm a fan of Floyd. You can see that he's tremendously ecstatic for Ishe Smith winning the title. He's very unselfish and he spreads the wealth. He puts other people on. Actually my Friend, it had less to do with his Jab and more to do with his weight advantage. As a matter of fact, Robinson was knocked down their first fight and beat Lamotta when he got up. The second fight was won because he outweighed him by 20 pounds and he was able to knock him down in the later rounds. I have read two books on robinson, and he mostly pulled out of fights because he was unhappy with the terms. He also was never the same after he killed Jimmy Doyle.

Say what you want about Floyd but that was a great point he made, he's very business savvy, most of the biggest sports contracts in history are over 8 years+ this guy went and got the biggest deal and he'd receive it all within 30 months provided he fights 6 times. Floyd's the hardest working guy and hasn't taken no punishment, forget his age he should easily accomplish this. Plus he's obviously motivated by money so I have no doubt that will spur him on.
Floyd Mayweather is a great boxer and a future hall of famer for sure! It's just a shame that he wasn't around in the era with Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Meldrick Taylor, Julio Cesar Chavez, Pernell Whitaker, Roberto Duran, De La Hoya in his prime, Mosley in his prime, etc.
