Just came back from Davids Tent in the UK where Melissa sang this song and i was woken up with a night terror at 2.30am which lasted 45 minutes. I was terrified and the only thing i could do was put this song on repeat until i fell back to sleep. Please pray for me as i am 59 years old and have been a Christian for 30 years and God is unlocking and healing childhood trauma but it is scary. Thank you my brothers and sisters ❤❤❤❤
hearing this song for 1st time- as I sit with my 3rd son seeing him 1st time in 4 yrs- he is 27 yr old has ptsd & ASD with Psychosis- & on and off street in Oakland CA for years from mental illness after military and medical issue not for drugs and things that people assume and judge but have no clue - while I’ve had to trust God everyday worrying about your child having to eat some times things others throw away- wondering if he is warm and safe or wondering if he will have a mental meltdown around the wrong person that doesn’t know he doesn’t mean things that come out of his mouth… It’s hard being all the way in TX & LA- I rarely can see him because of illness - because those closest are who triggers the mind quickest- This is one of the hardest things to deal with - because nobody understands and nobody likes to talk about mental illnesses - because people have difficulty understanding thing they can’t see … and fear things they don’t understand- and well It’s the Lord that is getting me through things with Joy because I know Jesus will heal his mind completely in a moment - but I know He has perfect timing and I want God to get glory in His healing… so I know it will be done at the right time among the right witnesses according to Gods plan and His greater purpose… I praise Jesus for giving me purpose and joy in the pain…. The first time i listened to it i had this picture of the Lord Jesus weeping ... over identity , they have believed the lie that they are not enough , don't qualify , that anxiety and depression is in their dna , so many lies about who you are . so if that is you as you read this know you are incredible and deeply loved . As the Lord turns on the lights , walk into the room and let the Holy Spirit re- introduce you to the real you ❤️
My sister passed away at 40 years young from alcoholism, depression, and mental health issues, and this song here drew me towards the Lord. It's one I will always listen to regularly. It's coming up on the two year anniversary, and it seems like just today, she was taken from me. I know now, though, that she was a seed planted for many to overcome their demons and turn to the Lord. Including myself. I am 15 months sober tomorrow, a member of Love Joy Church in Buffalo, NY, was baptized last August, and keep sharing HIS word. God is Great ALWAYS. What a powerful song. Multiple traumas, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and eating disorders have followed as young as twelve. Now in my thirties I wonder if I will ever be normal. I had an emotional breakdown earlier and this showed up on my UA-cam feed. A sense of peace and hope filled my spirit. A sound mind is my inheritance. Darkness cannot prevail where there is light.
I’m 34 & have dealt with undiagnosed severe adhd anxiety some ocd but more recently navigating depression & hurts & rejections & “how did I get here” & where is my career where is a place of my own? a pet? where is marriage & kids? a recent breakup after 2yrs (I know so many other ppl have it so much worse where it’s 5yrs or there’s kids involved) but yeah is like, oh.. more failure.. losing what I thought was going to be my happily ever after.. so all this to say you are not alone. I thought I was running crazy and all I could see was death I was so scared till I would feel sick gone to doctors they tell me you are not sick . It's your mind. And I kept praying telling God heal me I don't wanna go through that dark Road people go through. And God is healing me am getting back to my normal self. My brother in laws are going through so much. They have lost three brothers and one sister. Their baby sister and baby brother this year. Now my oldest brother in law is losing his middle brother to stage 4+ cancer in his kidneys and bones. They are prolonging it with chemotherapy but this last round nearly killed him. Now he has three infections coming out of his boules and the CBC has stepped in on his last infection. And his blood count is only around 0.2. He needs your light Lord. Just came back from Davids Tent in the UK where Melissa sang this song and i was woken up with a night terror at 2.30am which lasted 45 minutes. I was terrified and the only thing i could do was put this song on repeat until i fell back to sleep. Please pray for me as i am 59 years old and have been a Christian for 30 years and God is unlocking and healing childhood trauma but it is scary. Thank you my brothers and sisters ❤❤❤❤

hearing this song for 1st time- as I sit with my 3rd son seeing him 1st time in 4 yrs- he is 27 yr old has ptsd & ASD with Psychosis- & on and off street in Oakland CA for years from mental illness after military and medical issue not for drugs and things that people assume and judge but have no clue -
while I’ve had to trust God everyday worrying about your child having to eat some times things others throw away- wondering if he is warm and safe or wondering if he will have a mental meltdown around the wrong person that doesn’t know he doesn’t mean things that come out of his mouth…
It’s hard being all the way in TX & LA- I rarely can see him because of illness - because those closest are who triggers the mind quickest-
This is one of the hardest things to deal with - because nobody understands and nobody likes to talk about mental illnesses - because people have difficulty understanding thing they can’t see … and fear things they don’t understand- and well It’s the Lord that is getting me through things with Joy because I know Jesus will heal his mind completely in a moment - but I know He has perfect timing and I want God to get glory in His healing… so I know it will be done at the right time among the right witnesses according to Gods plan and His greater purpose… I praise Jesus for giving me purpose and joy in the pain…. I proclaim A healed mind of God for my son- in Jesus name….

My sister passed away at 40 years young from alcoholism, depression, and mental health issues, and this song here drew me towards the Lord. It's one I will always listen to regularly. It's coming up on the two year anniversary, and it seems like just today, she was taken from me. I know now, though, that she was a seed planted for many to overcome their demons and turn to the Lord. Including myself. I am 15 months sober tomorrow, a member of Love Joy Church in Buffalo, NY, was baptized last August, and keep sharing HIS word. God is Great ALWAYS. What a powerful song. Multiple traumas, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and eating disorders have followed as young as twelve. Now in my thirties I wonder if I will ever be normal. I had an emotional breakdown earlier and this showed up on my UA-cam feed. A sense of peace and hope filled my spirit. A sound mind is my inheritance. Darkness cannot prevail where there is light.
I’m 34 & have dealt with undiagnosed severe adhd anxiety some ocd but more recently navigating depression & hurts & rejections & “how did I get here” & where is my career where is a place of my own? a pet? where is marriage & kids? a recent breakup after 2yrs (I know so many other ppl have it so much worse where it’s 5yrs or there’s kids involved) but yeah is like, oh.. more failure.. losing what I thought was going to be my happily ever after.. so all this to say you are not alone. This mental health journey is not for the weak.. although we may feel so weak so much of the time.. knowing that Jesus was very God & very man & walked the earth experiencing human emotions does help me to grasp just how much He is here with me & cares & holds me hand through it. I’ve been asking Him for peace & strength.. I know that everything that’s led me to where I’m at now was meant to lead me back to a closer relationship with Christ. My brother in laws are going through so much. They have lost three brothers and one sister. Their baby sister and baby brother this year. Now my oldest brother in law is losing his middle brother to stage 4+ cancer in his kidneys and bones. They are prolonging it with chemotherapy but this last round nearly killed him. Now he has three infections coming out of his boules and the CBC has stepped in on his last infection. And his blood count is only around 0.2. He needs your light Lord. Please bless this family in Jesus holy name, Amen.
