I lost my Dad last January due to Covid. My Dad and I had a very strong connection through music, but not much else. And Trevor Hall was always one that we could connect through. We would listen to Still Water on repeat for days. Every time I put your music on Trevor, I am just thrown into the deep end of the memory pool. There are so many songs of yours that just listening to will bring me to a waterfall of tears.

I don't care if you ever see this or ever respond, I hope you see this, I just wanted to let you know Trevor, that I was a very self righteous Christian to the point where I, in my heart condemned to death at Armageddon any other person that did not belong to my Christian Church and did not believe exactly what I believed. I had an intense spiritual experience that opened my eyes. God is LOVE. I realized how far I had strayed. I was led to your music in a VERY unusual way. If I had heard one of your songs as a self righteous Christian then I would have thought your music was a stupid trick to mislead people to Satan. Now since my spiritual experience, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your music! Since leaving my church, ALL MY FAMILY, except my cousin and aunt who are not part of the church, won't talk to me. My parents and grandparents who don't have much longer to live and have health problems, won't take a phone call, text message, wouldn't even call me when I ended up in the emergency room, they won't talk to me at all. I had some dark days. NOW NOTHING BUT GOOD VIBES. Your music helped me through some dark days, I have never met you, but I love your soul, if you're ever in Northern California let me know, I would love to meet you.
