- Sabbath School lesson is one of the worldwide lessons studied by members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and we are in the third quarter of 2023. The adult Bible study lesson for this quarter was written by John K. McVay. We are currently studying the book of Ephesians, and the Sabbath School lesson for this week is titled "The Power of the Exalted Jesus" July 8-14. Pastor Mark I am so happy that you are now helping us to understand the Sabbath School lesson. Jesus is using you in a mighty way to explain so simply and nicely so we understand. May Jesus keep using you in all His work all the time and please do not get too busy to then stop the SSchool lesson explanation
Thank you dear God in heaven for giving Jesus to die on the cross to save us sinners and Jesus resurrection on the 3rd days shows us that death has no power for those who trust in the Lord and will be resurrected when Jesus comes to meet Him in the clouds of heaven, if we remain faithful to Him. Amen

Raising the dead? Of all the miracles in the Bible, this is the hardest for me to swallow. A direct violation of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.
You're quoting EGW, half of which is a verse from revelation and then spend time on the verse, when you could have read the verse all by itself because the quote added nothing to the verse. I always wonder why people do that. (I am not anti- Ellen but I have always wondered by people use quotes that are mostly a verse instead of quoting the verse. Is there a contract that must be fulfilled?)
