What will the SOCIAL and SPIRITUAL condition of the culture look like just prior to Jesus’ return? In Luke 17 Jesus says it will be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot-a righteous minority living among a wicked majority. The wickedness in the world will not only be tolerated but celebrated too and people will think it is “normal.” So how do we maintain the Biblical mission to win the world for Christ without allowing the world to influence us while we wait for Christ’s return? Pastor Gary shares the answer to that question in today’s teaching from Luke 17.

I’m so burdened and angry with the way society is living and the trafficking, grooming and indoctrination of our kids. I can’t imagine the fear these poor tormented children are enduring. I pray Jesus comes quickly and rescues all the kids and those of us Heaven bound.
There is no perfect church building that we can attend… but there ARE Pastors who speak to your heart with unashamed Biblical accuracy and authenticity… Ps Gary is one such Man of God… thankfully there are other too…

I have never experienced such moving sermons as come from Pastor Gary. Thank God I've found him in the most devastating 2 years of my life and this sermon preaches to exactly what I've been going through and still am.

We are so privileged to know the truth as passed down to us thru the Gospels. The Word today is so very much like Jesus said it would be in the end time times. The world is a global village. Christians must not be ashamed to stand up and declare to the world the true worship of thru Jesus Christ. Such online teachings are invaluable. I love the humor sometimes used in Pastor Gary's sermons. It does not take away from his message and imo, his teaching is on another level. He does what you'd call DUMPSTER DIVING with the Bible. He digs deep, whereas, some ministers only touch the surface.
Jesus Knows the Heart of the Pastor and the Listeners who Receive the Word...Humour or not, pastor Gary Hamrick has bought many People to Christ Jesus through the guidance of The Holy Spirit.

We are called to stand up and speak up against evil. Ephesians 5:11 Don’t participate in the fruitless works of darkness, but instead expose them.

Yes! I love the one on responsibility. I'm from Australia. Also 2 in bed while 2 are working in the field is talking about the whole earth! While it's dark on one side, people are working in the sun on the other. Nobody knew that at that time.
He is great indeed! I am going through his teachings verse by verse in the archives and since I’ve finished several I noticed how well he links them. So I decided to hear the full Bible. It’s a pity I can’t find verse by verse on Exodus during Wednesday’s teachings. I lack those the best! I recommend his teachings to everyone plus he seems down to earth person. Again, love his teachings.

So if there's supposed to be unrest/rudeness before Christ's return, and I am plotting along minding my own business doing my stuff, and I encounter this behaviour, like bad employees who refuse to help in their JOB or what not, I feel it is OK to be rude right back without question. I love how true you are to the text, especially in places where it is easy to "infer" things not written.
Too often I hear people preach the "days of Noah" and add that the people mocked Noah while he preached for 120 years. This is not written in the text at all, but it becomes a foundation of a theology that people use to say only 7 people responded to the call to get on the boat (also not how the text is written).
I often hear it said that Jesus mentioned Noah to show that people will mock us for believing. But that is not why Jesus mentioned Noah. As you clearly stated (and is clearly stated in Jesus' words), the reference to Noah and Lot was to talk about sudden destruction and wrath after God separates the righteous from the world.
I truly appreciate you and your sermons.

The church in America is asleep. Its not ready for what is coming. Lol...just trying to get them together for worship and fellowish...for the iron strengthening iron...is like pulling teeth. We have too much to do. Our days are over booked with so much of the superficial and our spiritual focus is blurred..God help us.

I would like to know, if I miss the great occasion with Jesus coming in the sky, if Jesus takes us his children secretly before ?
I know of people who attend church services every Sunday and attend bible studies and claim to be born again Christians, received Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior but when we have gatherings big or small and I start talking about the Word of God, because I want to share the Gospel, they stop me. Are they truly saved?

This was excellent, except I don’t know why he didn’t finish reading the whole verse of Jude 20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.
I am confused, and I hope someone can clarify so I can research further. When Pastor Gary is talking about Luke 17 versus 34 and 35. My COMMENTARY says this, "the Lord's coming will be a time of separation. Two men will be sleeping in one bed. One will be taken away in judgment. The other, a believer, will be spared to enter Christ kingdom. Two women will be grinding together; the one, and unbeliever, will be taken away in the storm of God's wrath; the other, a child of God, will be spared to enjoy millennial blessings with Christ."
My commentary is titled the Believers Bible Commentary by William MacDonald.

The trouble I have with the rapture teaching is that people in the church became so complacent with evil and did not stand up and oppose evil…..just are content to get a quick exit from earth! But in the meantime we have stopped warning others about the evils IN the world to the point that we just sigh, do nothing and say “ oh,well ,the BIBLe ( or Jesus) said it will be bad and that it’s GOD’s will…..and go about their petty, finger pointing rather than opposing children being taught evil in their schools, on TV, in music and movies! Not even protecting their own children !! Get your children out of public schools !! Or oppose the legalization of drugs for “ recreation” and standing up and opposing BLM or Antifa, all the lies from DC and the Biden cartel , corruption run amok in all governments from local to state to Federal . We are to occupy And reclaim lives for GOD’s Kingdom while we are still here on earth!! Not hide in our homes or basements and pretend that all this is not happening…….

They say all things continue as it was in the beginning, there are no changes.The are wilfully ignorant.
Could Luke 17:37 and Matt 24:28 mean we leave our flesh on earth at His return for the church? Life seems normal (eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building, and getting married. Then there is flash of light and dead bodies. It looks like there is only one resurrection (John 6:39-54, 11:24, Rev 20:4-6). Therefore 1 Thes 4 looks like the second coming because it has a resurrection. Those following Jesus in 1 Thes 4:14b will need a new glorified, immortal earthly body for the millennium. We don't need a resurrection to go to heaven before the pre-trib rapture.
He friend, God bless you. You’re not alone wondering if that verse is in regard to us leaving our physical bodies behind. I have always wondered that too. Jesus always had a very detached disposition to earthly things, and we always have this “Illuminated departure” rapture perspective. It could very well be God takes our souls and the bodies are left behind. Jesus Himself did ascend in physical form and did reflect some of His own physical characteristics (holes in hands and feet). In regards to who remains on earth, Biblically speaking in 2 Thessalonians 2 it positions that it is highly probably that the Holy Spirit departs and with Him we go also (many debate this). Then in Revelation 11 the 2 Witnesses begin their untouchable period of advocacy for the Gospel (remember to read Revelation as a love letter from God to His people begging them for repentance til the very end by exhaustive punishment). Revelation 7 accounts for 144,000 to remain on earth. In addition, an innumerable quantity of people emerge from the tribulation in white robes. A lot of people believe that when rapture occurs that people won’t be coming to know the Lord anymore… not the case. God in His amazing grace exhausts everything, since it is not His will that any should perish 2 Peter 3:8-10. God bless you all… I hope this was helpful and not confusing rambling. @@soulhunter7451 thanks for the reply. Glad I am not the only one with that interpretation of Luke 17:37 and Matt 24:28. Jesus Himself did ascend in physical form but we don't know what happened to his body after he entered the cloud. Since flesh cannot inherit (aka live) in heaven, I think his body changed into a heavenly body (1 Cor 15:40) but still has the same likeness in heaven (scars, etc.). Where does the anonymous group meet? Do you know of anybody that teaches a pre-trib rapture without a resurrection (body change)?

At the end of the day I’m just dust trying to understand the mighty will of our precious Father, but that was my understanding. I do not know of any one teaching that but that’s not to say that I have an exhaustive knowledge of anything of course. 1 Corinthians 15:52 supports the correlation with resurrection/changing of physical form in a single instance, which is where that is derived. In regards to the group, we look for a host, we review the rules of the group with the potential group host to see if he adheres to the Bible rather than man-based teachings. The host assembles a group of up to 12 men, and they begin weekly meetings for the purpose of faith cultivation and the great commission. Our goal is to be everywhere with an untraceable footprint to prepare for the present and incoming persecution of Christians. I will pray for guidance for you this evening my friend. See when Jesus returns in Revelation 19:1-18, there is an invitation to the birds of prey for a great supper when Jesus returns on his White Horse. No speculation needed. It's literal.
The church is the Indian Malankara Orthodox Church. I feel out of place there, they are very judgemental and materialistic. I don’t feel like I belong there.I don’t feel like I am in a Church and hence I prefer listening to Godly pastors.

But Matthew 24:30 does NOT say "Two men in bed!" It says, Two men in a field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left." No translation says, two men in a bed. What is this "Two men in a bed????"
