Thank you for sharing your woods time with us. I always enjoy seeing nature through the eyes 👀 of another person. Have a great day and keep on hiking 🚶♀️.
Ahhhhh! Oh my gosh, those colors were STUNNING! Mt. Cammerer might be my favorite hike. Thank you for taking us along, as I won't get a chance to get up there this Fall! Also...note to self: hike Lower Mt. Cammerer in the Fall! I hiked it in Winter and it was kind of meh. Those colors were gorgeous! Love your AT beanie! I just started section hiking the AT. I completed GA in a week a few weeks ago! 😃
I missed you again we were at Cosby on October 5,6 . Last March we were at Elkmont around the same time you were . We hope to see you on trail sometime . We hiked trillium to Mt Leconte it was a rough day.
It's like a breath of Fresh Fall Air watching this video. Finally a video that shows the trails like they are. Then the surrounding landscape in all of it glory. Plus no music so a person can enjoy the sounds of the trail as the individual hikes along. A very welcome break for a person in Central Floridian still dealing with the aftermath of a Hurricane.
Thank you for the beautiful video! What brilliant colors! Congratulations on the long hike on a hard trail!! I'm hoping to get out this weekend. It's peak colors this week in the mountains where we live in Pennsylvania. No rocks on my mountain lol!
This is my favorite type of “Braids” video! Thank you so much for sharing. The colors are so amazing this year. The colors here in NC are so beautiful this year too! I just wish Fall would last a lot longer. I need more time to take pictures!
So beautiful. I've only hiked Mt. Cammerer once and it was in the clouds when we got up there. Wish I was there. I love the fall too. Thanks for sharing 🙂.
Great video I love that you are still hiking after your through hike it messes with people's minds after a hike like that gotta keep doing what you love and keep your mind straight
What a stunning video Braids. The colors are just beautiful and it’s obvious how much you enjoyed it. I noticed the 2022 AT thru hiker tag in the hut. There must be SOBOs in that area right now. Lovely video and thanks for sharing. Happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️
Great hike. Fall is the best time to hike. If you ever have a couple of weeks of free time in the fall, you might want to consider doing the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota. If you could time it to start about one week before the peak in fall colors you could have 2 weeks of amazing fall color hiking. 🍁🍂 😎👍
Great video!! 🙂 The fall colors are a poppin' for sure. Can you camp in the tower? (I have never hiked this trail.) Thanks for making another great video!! I will have to make that yummy looking burrito. 😋
Wow you made it in 25 minutes. Took us 10 hours..lol. we hit the trail at 1:40 am to catch the sunrise. ( posted a vid) About 2 miles in I (Doug) learned that I need to be in much better shape before we do it again. Low Gap is no joke
Lol it's one of those hikes that doesn't seem that bad initially but definitely takes longer to hike than one would think. Catching the sunrise is pretty awesome though :)
I've never done Mt Cammerer. Maybe next year. I've kind of been burnt out of backpacking lately. Only went once this year during the June heat wave and didn't have a good time...
How long did it take to do this hike? Did u start early in the morning? I live in TN and would like to do this, but I need to plan it accordingly. 16.2 miles is quite a hike for me!
It took me 9 hours including a 45 min break - fair warning it is a tough hike going up but Lower Mt Cammerer is a nice trail with fairly smooth terrain.
Hey girl,awesome hike,beautiful gorgeous scenery.thanks for share👍🙋♀️

New sub here. Awesome hiking. I love the colours of autumn and you captured the autumn trees beautifully. Thanks for sharing and happy hiking.
Hello and welcome! Autumn is my favorite :)
It was great meeting you on the spur trail to the tower. I was hiking the 24 mile loop from Mt. Cammerer tower to Mt. Sterling tower from Big Creek.
Nice to meet you!

100% agree with you. I think many people never really enjoy the moment trying to get a selfie.
You are brave eating bean dip on the trail. Lol❤
Love the Smokies vids! I wish I could do those kind of miles on a day hike. My IT band/knees and back would not approve. 😆
hawk is hiking AT for 7th time glad to see u out there
Beautiful hike! Glad you made it back before dark.

Wow 🤩
Great video I love that you are still hiking after your through hike it messes with people's minds after a hike like that gotta keep doing what you love and keep your mind straight
Beautiful colors! I’ve hiked it once and it was in the dead summer heat! Love the way it looks in the fall! Thanks for sharing !
You’re so welcome!

Yes there was a young lady up there going southbound

Great video! Where’s best place to see a sunset?
I believe side paths are to cemeteries.

No camping is only allowed at designated campsites
So beautiful 🥰 If I could visit the states and only do one hike in Amerika only, I would be so thrilled! It all looks so gorgeous.
Ah what a great compliment! Where do you live?

There’s nothing wrong with taking a break. Sometimes it’s necessary. Wishing you well!
Thanks for sharing another wonderful video!! Bee u ta full!!! Hey, what shoes were you wearing?
I'm wearing Hoka Speedgoat 4 - they're my favorite and I can hike for miles with no foot pain.
@@HikingwithBraids thanks so much!!
Beautiful! What’s the total miles hike to the top mountain scenery and back to the car?
16.5 miles for this hike
Is the trail you took back down less strenuous/steep than Low Gap? I just lost my big toe nail due to that hike back down..lol. Wrong shoes.
Yes it’s much easier just longer miles
@@HikingwithBraids Probably worth the extra miles to save the calves and toes. Thanks.

Instead of "holy smokes" I'm going to start saying "holy smokies"
doing this hike next week
