Enjoyed this. Embarrassed to say, never played though I own. You've inspired me to get it on table as you highlighted the area where my forefathers fought (Kings Mountain/Cowpens). One ggg- grandfather was captured and hung by the Tories the day after Cowpens. The fighting in the South was vicious. Too long in the past to harbor any resentments. Make love not war as we used to say in Vietnam. Keep up the good war my friend.
The actual rules is a maximum of 4SP per space and since Charleston qualifies, that's where I would have put them if I was the American player. If you read about the militia they usually gathered where they were needed. Lexington, Concord are early examples but for Burgoyne, Bennington is where he got a surprise. His comments about the militia in New England are very illuminating. Describing them as a ''gathering storm on my left".
@@strelnikoff1632 I must confess I am. It turned out to be a pretty good simulation of the war. It's an uphill battle for the British all the way and not necessarily balanced. But 'balance' in wargames has never really been a big thing for me. It it was, why would I enjoy taking the confederates in the American Civi War or the Japanese in WWII. The latter is definitely NOT balanced and yet there are plenty of Pacific War games out there.

Gilbert: Good to see you post these recent videos on your WFA.
Great video! Thanks!
Having all of South Carolina's , patriot militia immediately arrive at Charleston seems a tad unfair for the British player
You must be very proud of this game

Gilbert. I’ve wondered how you became interested in the American Revolution?
Great game and action demo. Thank you! I want to play this game
Great map
Do the British get to roll for Loyalist militia?
Yes, but the mechanism for the Loyalists is a bit different than for the militia.
