Facts: First goal Schlotterbeck - was a goal, not a foul by Kimmich. Offside is offside and handball is handball. Without Schmeichel, Germany made 5, 6 goals
It was close, but let us imagine that a goal wouldn't be give because ist was close, or "a toe nail" across the line. Having written that, I still feel for the Danish Team and Nation.
Didn't think there would be this much Germany hate. I thought us being crap for the last 8 years would make them happy. So,...... LET'S GO SLOVAKIA!!!!!!
I dont know, why they all cry about this Abseits? Now we hqve this high tec, and so its absolut dont matter, if the player have a finger or an half from a finger in Abseits, because now its 100% Abseits thx the high tec they make the game fair, also with the penalty, the ruls says no finger on ball and the player have one finger their, poor guy but also 100% save the technic makes. If you want that issue except its no more the question, its the ruls so no excuse!
Why didn’t they speak about germanys first goal that was not given? It wasn’t even a foul. Now they talking about the ref favouring Germany but it was the other way round
Why always these discussions about hands? There is an objective touch with a hand up and just a lot of subjective interpretations and opinions….the modern game is getting faster and faster and therefore the VAR is the is the only tool for objective decisions….
Even if the offside goal becomes a bit absurd and one wonders if the sensor is working perfectly, I can accept it to some extent. However, I have long wondered about the hand rule long before the Danish national team captain mentions the insanity of how the rule looks! We've seen commentators think it's silly to defend in the 'penguin style', but how are they going to manage to run with their hands at their sides, which they obviously have to in order to avoid a penalty situation? Even in header duels, the attackers have a big advantage. To jump high, it is natural to use the arms as help. If the ball touches an arm or hand of the defender, it is a penalty, the attacker gets a free kick against himself. Should the defenders have a magnetic waist pack and wristbands that act inside the penalty area and "tie" the hands to the body? It would be easier for VAR and referees to determine via VAR whether it is intentional or not, instead of judging whether it is a natural position on the arm! The Dane really had a natural position! It would have been ridiculous and impossible for the Danish defender to catch up with a penguin style. Also looked unnatural! In the case of a shot against the goal frame, you probably still have to award a penalty, but a cross...? And I'm not danish and wanted Germany to win!
@@lennartandersson75 It's quite an intricate matter. If you change the rules in order for the refs to individually apply their subjective metrics on a specific situation, it opens up further discussions about bias and interpretation. Is it better that there is a universal rule that applys for each and all teams, or do we open the door for individual evaluation, which can differ from ref to ref, potentially leading to unbalanced decisionmaking. The offside debate on the other hand is unfounded. The tech is there- it works and is applied fairly. In this case there is no basis for criticsm, however miniscule the offside position may be.

Ridiculous to discuss about the fact it was offside! I wonder if they would debate like that if this would happened to England!?

Germany missed 2 more goals to score, a correct goal was taken. The player was offside and the games name is football, not handball.
Musiala Dodged a bullet not playing for triple Durex england 😂
I do not understand the discussion. That are the rules!
Maybe they discussing if the rules correct to the way the game is meant to be and to how we all love the game.
IFAB which is dominated by the UK fa's makes the rules.

hey, there is a chip in ball. you can offside see very clearly when the ball was played.
Rules are rules and Germany was the better team! Please don't talk bullshit!
Clueless pundits. Have to know the rules
So bitter lol
Bullshits discussions! Rules are rules. It's not a referee that made decisions. VAR implemented rules and rules are rules.
Exactly for such Moments var came in 😂. Correctly so
