- 10 card blind PSA reveal and it really took a turn as I think PSA might have damaged one of my cards. More come on this one once I hear back from PSA.

Per usual, great video NEO. I love the blind reveal. Your real life reaction adds so much to the video. The Witt and Caminero are great cards. I am curious to see how PSA handles the PSA 4 Witt. It is a pain in the butt, but that is why I take pictures of all the fronts and backs of all the cards I send in at four at a time. I learned my lesson because I was pretty sure SGC damaged a card, but I did not have a good picture to proof it. I will probably miss you at Hartville. The 7 looks like it was damaged during the encapsulation process. The crease is right at the bumper on the slab like the card was on the bumper and they pushed down on the corner bending it before putting it in place.
I thought the same, there was an issue during encapsulation and the holder was fixed. Haha

Nope, they damaged it. My last couple of submissions have damage on cards that were not there. It's unreal. The damage to the Witt isn't something that you'd miss.
The Bobby debut, I had the first 2 10’s in POP count.
I’ve noticed a lot of those major backside creases on chrome cards the last 2 years. Pretty sure it’s happening before the cards are put together as it would be tough to do that much damage to one side of the card without damaging the front. They can be hard to spot because you aren’t expecting something so bad. This is the rare occasion I’d hesitate blaming PSA.
I've had this happen to me before - the only way to ward against it is to scan every single card before submission but that's a pain in the ass.
They just laugh at you when you complain. They creased my stickers from the 80's and 90's and gave them PSA 6's. Cost me a few thousand. They creased two of my friends' Messi and Ronaldo cards, potentially costing him $500k. He said they were mint/new.
I sent in two ‘89 Griffey rookies and one came back with a crease in the exact same place your crease is. I never would’ve missed it. I sent an email and it’s been six months an have never gotten a response after several more emails. I told them their grader creased my card. Still pi$$ed about that.
You accepted the 7 well for the indent - if your other was heavily damaged they prob damaged that too. I assume you look them over at angles in light and would’ve seen it.
I bet the grader is on dope and nodded off while holding the card causing the damage.
Probably dropped it and then trod on it.
Same thing happened to me on a 1966 clemente
I've gotten some very questionable results lately.
Yes they do they damaged a jabari smith jr rookie auto came back with huge dent in card that I know for a fact wasn't there when I sent it

Always has been a major concern of mine.
Two years ago I sent in a GOLD /10 octagon side masvidal UFC SELECT card it got a 5 because of a crease that was very apparent I would have never sent it out if I saw that. I saw it immediately in the slab like you just did I tried to talk to them spoke to someone once or twice then they forgot about me.😢
That's would be tough to miss....solid 4.

PSA damaged 6 of my cards from my last submission. They creased my stickers and gave them all PSA 6's. They ignored my emails when i contacted them. You can't trust them
Damn, i am beginning to question the scanning technology they use. Far too many issues with damages cards recently
I have a pile of cards I'd like to send in, but I'm super leary to do it.
I think the 2 low grades got smushed ...together.. same angle of folding, creasing same corner.. whether u did it or psa
I don’t want to add a redundant comment here but I had a submission with a bunch of 7 and 8s. I noticed damaged corners and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t miss that many of them. Emailed PSA and they haven’t responded.

It is very obvious what PSA did here. They put the Witt into the spokes of their bikes to make it sound much cooler 🎉🎉. Rough sub big guy.
Maybe the machine at PSA that takes the first photo is damaging the card?
They damaged 1 of my Tony Gonzalez rookie cards. At least they wiped off the footprint from your Bobby Witt card.
These companies need some sort of transparency and oversight. From what I can tell they might as well just roll dice to come up with numbers. If making a submission definitely take high def photos of your cards first...

Check your prescan images should show that wasnt there.

Aside from the obvious, great eye man I see constant psa reveals where it's a lot of 8 and 9s with clear flaws
I've had cards come straight out of the pack that looked like that. I believe you missed that my friend.

Alot of videos out with PSA damaging card's. Sounds like a bad employee screwing everyone over.

I sent them an order that got there Jan 16 on the same special and it’s in assembly - good luck for you on the quick turnaround
Happened to me before twice. 3 years ago I sent a Joe Burrow Prizm SSP and it came back a 10 but it had the top layer of back bottom corner peeled back white. I don’t know how to describe it was extremely noticeable and I ended up just selling it

The choice to get the color match on the DTR was spot on. Has there been any news on his questionable autos? Hopefully they can work him in to get him some experience for when Watson goes down as the NFL was ripe with QB injuries last year. It's terrible to see that crease on the Bobby Witt Jr. Its always good to record the cards in video like you did or scan them yourself before you send them in.
I would never send cards in when they run specials. They already blow through them. Imagine what its like when they have an influx of orders

They send them when they arrive. The problem is seeing this or not and knowing when or who damaged it.
And what sucks they grade cards for s living so if they damage one they know they did but never admit it just send you a shitty grade like it was your fault

Its happens more often than you would think, they used to own up to it and pay you the DV, they dont really do that anymore.

They'll ask him to send pictures, then resend them as they can't detect the issue. They'll ignore the second email

Maybe that 7 Julio was damaged, too, if it was in the order next to the Witt card. That Witt card looks like it fell on the ground, and they rolled their chair over the corner.

Would never grade high pop base cards anymore, too great a risk at not getting a 10.
There’s a good chance that happened when you put it into the Card Saver. It’s a common card grading injury.

Your cards got damaged in transit or at PSA
My grades just popped today. I have subbed about 400 cards with PSA. This is the first sub that showed their inconsistency. Same cards and condition that I have sent before that got 10’s. The only difference was the grader and those same cards got an 8 and many 9’s. Some cards I saw absolutely nothing wrong with got 9’s as well. It was like they were afraid to hit me with 10’s on many cards that deserved it.

do you know if it came from the NJ office? Because my subs that end up there have been bad.

@Teabagonyou Weird. They're sending cards from California to New Jersey. My last one went from California to New Jersey back to California. And my grades were not good. I was pretty bummed. And was looking at SGC for my next submission but why do that now Haha, it's all PSA to me now.

I may have had the same grader. Waiting on a card to come back so I can look it over. Easily was a solid 9 based on what I've sent over many years. It posted as a '7', as well. Immediate thought was that they damaged it.
They just deliberately downgrade to piss customers off

This is an amazing blind review, worked out perfect. I mean the reason why it’s amazing is awful, but that’s a reaction for sure. And I’m with you I can’t wait and have to look at grades
I’ve seen that same exact card get a 2 for the same reason. Creases are a thing on those Witt mojo’s.
Think the PSA 8 the bottom of the card looked a bit damaged from what you showed

Always check to see what the raw photos upon getting into their system look like now thay they give them. A flaw like that could have been on PSA or it could have happened in transit. I wish they'd literally just ask for modern cards that appeared damaged instead of just take money willy nilly. Not a big fan of them anymore, and glad I ended my subscription.
after grades pop the receive scans go away, you can get them from PSA but it is a pain.
once my cards are scanned in raw, I download images of the better cards to my computer and save them in case something goes wrong and one of them gets damaged
PSA damaged a card? You don’t say? I know for sure they damaged two of my cards bc I triple check the corners on every card I send and I had two come back with dinged corners that I know I didn’t miss
Same here, dinged corners on my 80's submission. I reached out and they initially got back with me but it's been crickets since. Damaged my childhood Griffey Rated Rookie. Was pissed 😡
Beckett haven't damaged any of my cards and I've submitted 500 over ten years

I never record or take pictures. Rookie mistake. After watching this video i will make sure to always record lol.
At least 10% of my cards get damaged Every Time from PSA. I inspect my cards under a bright light with a watchmakers eye loupe and every order has 10% PSA 5's and 6's. Every single time.
I have gotten many cards back from PSA that have corners like the Julio, they normally don't count it in the grading. I honestly think its from sealing the cards in the slab.

You can see what happened obviously they screwed up one of your cards so they went ahead and gave you tens on all the others to try and make up for it a little bit. but hopefully you will get redemption on your PSA 4
Dude, I sent in a HUGE card to be graded. 5 graders looked over it first, and me. All agreed 10, no questions. Thing comes back and we immediately see it. Huge fingernail indentation in front and back and a corner is pushed. Obviously, person grading, dropped it and tried to catch the card as it hit the ground. I went nuclear on PSA over it. "Not their fault. Not in their intake scans." No shit, your grader dropped the thing. Angry to the point of walking up to a PSA guy at a show and just leveling him and taking his wallet, RDR2 style. (No, I'm not serious)
They damaged 6 of my cards from my last submission. They damaged one of the corners from my Jack Nicklaus 1971 rookie and gave it an 8 instead of a 9. There's a $15k difference between those grades. It so annoying. It may not be the graders that's damaging cards. It could be the person handling and encapsulating them

Exact same thing happened to me. Sent a card in I had reviewed in detail and was perfect. Came back a 5 with a huge crease . I’m 100% certain they damaged it and I have no recourse
Did you email them? They can all the raw cards now.
The same happened to me, but they gave me PSA 6's.
I’m calling shenanigans! The first time you do a blind reveal, you get a 4! You purposely bent the card to make a reaction video 😀 Make sure you send back that 6 that got regraded a 10 🤪😀

if the grading was done in the NJ office I would imagine the cards were damaged or misgraded. Have had some issues with my subs coming in from that location vs Newport Beach.
