I have to give you Kudos! for hiking the actual trail from the 1st water cache. A lot of your contemporaries have hiked the road instead. The real route vis-a-vis the CDT/Guthook is way more demanding in terms of energy output.
Yeah it was tough. Not planning on sticking to the red line. But not taking a route because it’s easier or shorter. It will be because it’s more scenic or maybe even harder

What happens if that water cache is empty? I was wondering that when I saw you open the door.
Your screwed!! They shouldnt bE empty unless someone messed with them. When you pay for the shuttle you’re also paying for those water caches so they keep them well stocked.
