Daniel Hawkins was/is so underrated. He has that great jazz flair because he first started in jazz clubs, then played gospel. The Hawkins brothers are musical geniuses.
It was just something special about that era of gospel music that has been lost. The anointing was captivating and drew people to the altar of God.
This song got me through breast cancer. I would lie in my bed and just curl up and listen to this song, over and over again. Praise the name of Jesus. I've bene cancer free for almost 7 years. Thank you might Healer and Lover of My Soul Jesus. Amen
One of the finest keyboardist of all times is the legendary Daniel Hawkins. He is also a humble man who I have admired from all his work I have been blessed to experience.

I so agree with the comments!!! This music has somehow been lost. The Hawkins were so very original and ahead of their time. Their music is timeless. It ministers in a way that no other music can. I'm so glad I got to attend workshops and record with the workshop choir in Oakland, California while Walter and Edwin were alive. What a blessing! They have deposited music in the earth that will never be silenced. Praise God!

Wow!!! This was the jam. Growing up a church girl we could only listen to gospel music. We couldn’t wait for new music from Edwin or Walter Hawkins. Daniel is one of the most talented musicians and composers to ever play. Master on the piano and could tear up an organ. Thank God for these video’s!
Never heard this song until today
I woke up praising the Lord during these difficult times dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic August 18, 2020. Holy Spirit take my hand and fill my cup.
