Finally got around to installing this-video was great Tim, and actually a fun project! Learned a lot about hydraulic adaptors too. I have a Summit Hydraulics rear remote/ 3rd function kit so for those of you who also have it, you can use your same hoses to the front. But will need a 3/8 male JIC to a 3/8 female ORFS to connect the summit hoses to the tractor side multifaster. I used the 45 deg extra adaptor Tim used and got another one, all from DHH so all connectors are 45 deg male ORFS on the tractor side (and then connect that male JIC-female ORFS adaptor). Thanks again Tim for a great product!! I cannot describe what a game changer this is and worth every penny!!!

I'm so glad I got the opportunity to help you guys get this straightened out. It was great to talk to you and Tom. Laura from DHH has been awsome to deal with as well, she said she's sending me the 90* fittings!! I have used this so much already!!

Anytime you work with hydraulic hoses it’s always a learning and trial and error process. I have found that no two tractors are exactly the same. 1/8th of an inch difference in the bend of a hard line or bracket can throw everything out of whack. You did a great job and showed that every tractor can be a little different install. Fantastic video Tim. Thanks

if one removes their loader with any frequency, this is the ticket! I can only imagine the time and effort involved in creating the kit. Good job! Blessings.

As someone who's done a lot of hose routing, I will tell you that you should always torque the angled fittings first. This allows the hose to move on constrained during the routing. If you do it the other way you'll put twist into the line. And a twisted line is going to kink. This being said, your order of operation may require that you connect the angled side last. In this case, you modify your design and change the hose from an angled termination to a staight fitting then use angled fittings. One thing you never do is put an angle fitting on both ends of a hose. This is just asking for problems.

So I ordered it and installed it yesterday (one day before your video, my luck). Directions were a little lacking but a bit of trial and error and I got it. It wasn’t difficult. A couple things for others. On the blue line Tim did a great job showing the restrictor (brass piece ). It fell out when I was doing mine and had to do a little research to figure out which way to put it in. The notched side goes in first smooth side should be visible when inserted. I kind of assumed that but felt better when I found it on the internet and confirmed. Very happy with it with one small quibble, I have a size 12 shoe and when the loader is attached and the handle locked down, I some times hit it with my foot when trying to push the forward gas pedal (diesel petal 😂). If the bracket was two inches longer that would alleviate that but it may not be an issue for most people. I plan to cut the bracket and weld two inches in to the vertical section to add that length. I might also add a tapered triangle to the back to stiffen as being longer I might find has a little too much flex but we will see. Very happy with it! Works great.

6:32 So did the o-ring that dropped out of the 2nd hose (for the bottom of the 6 port connector) result in a leak? Seemed the o-ring ended up sitting on the bench for a while.... 14:28
Hopefully you know that this is not a criticism or anything like that, love your videos, you just didn't seem to hear me or notice that I kept pointing to it so you would notice it before you pressurized the hydraulics 😂. Enjoyed the video as always, oh and pets to the kitties, have a good one!!👍

They told me to refer to your video about hooking up to 2 different loaders. I have a 220R MSL and a 220R NSL would love to be able to interchange them with this setup, but buying 2 kits just for loader side and hoses is not real cost effective. Is there a kit with 2 loader side and 1 tractor side?

Great video Tim! I already received my kit before the video; just painting the bracket John Deere green and then going to hook it up. I have the Summit Hydraulics 3rd fxn kit (courtesy of another of your awesome videos) so hopefully it will connect. One question-I do have a hydraulic plow for the winter that uses the 4 standard tractor ports. I assume I will just be able to disconnect 4 the hoses from the 6 port bracket on the tractor and connect the plow hoses like usual? Thanks!
Oh, I also just noticed I did not get the six separate 45 deg JIC with the 37 deg flare for the quick connect adapters in my kit. Was that a recent change?

Tim: I have looked all over for a way to drain my 2032R radiator. It has the 2 additional cooling units in front of the radiator (and No screen in front of the primary radiator). Dealer confirms no drain plug! but was not able to explain on the phone how to drain. Can you do a video on how to drain/fill PLEASE. Thanks

Hi guys. I've had my 22 2025R since Aug of 22 and have never removed my loader. I'm not sure if it's good or bad. I developed a rare form of arthritis that not only affects my joints but also muscles and just don't want to have to fight with the couplers. My fingers don't work as well as they once did. This might be an option in the future. I would need a good reason to remove the loader to spend that kind of money. Great video!

    • @TractorTimewithTim

If you mow with your tractor, it is much easier to navigate and much better visibility without the loader.
My father in law just went through the same thinking. He thought “it was fine” with the loader on….then we tried with it off, and he immediately said “I’ll be taking the loader off to mow!”

There is a product by Skid Steer Solutions that applies pressure to reconnect flat faced couplers, but I think they would work on pioneer couplers as well.

That restrictor should stay on the loader side, not on the tractor side. It could cause issues with different attachments.

Another fine video Tim and Christy! I couldn't help but notice your LX-3310 hood on the floor in the background. What's going on with that tractor? I don't see it much and would like to see a video project on that tractor at least once in a while. I did have a LX-2610, but the 'whine' was too loud (and so Kubota thought too) so gave it back to the dealer and got lucky finding a Grand L-6060 Ann. Edition. I'd like to get the 8 port single lever disconnect for the L6060 and install myself. With you vast amount of hydraulic coupling knowledge, do you know what type hydraulic fittings Kubota generally uses? I just haven't gotten around to disconnect any fittings to find out.

    • @jimmcknight3021
      @jimmcknight3021 2 місяці тому +1

We bought 3560 Grand L open station a little over 2years ago. We optioned it up so we have 4 sets of hosed on the loader. Yes, we have the hydraulic skid steer which we really like. I was going to get the quick coupler, but the dealer talked out of it. The sales person said they can be hard to reconnect on the kit they use. He also pointed out that it would be rare on the Grand L. Series that you would want to take the loader off. I think he was right as we have seen no need to take off.

@@jimmcknight3021 Thanks for your great comments. I’ll have to rethink this. In lieu of the single lever 8 port connector, I may just change the existing pioneer couplers to FF just so there is minimal to no leakage when disconnecting the hoses. I do remove my loader in the winter to mount my front snowblower, so usually at least once per year. Additionally, I’ll change my implement pioneers to FF connect under pressure couplers to allow easy connections even if static pressure increases.

@@jimmcknight3021 Indeed, I do. Just got it this year mainly for snow blowing to replace my BX-2200 setup (which I'm selling soon), which was open station and very cold when snow blowing. When I was younger I could hardly wait to get my cold weather gear on and open up the driveway. However, now being over 60 I'm looking more forward to opening up the driveway with just a flannel in a heated cab.
