    I've watch dozens of your videos. Thank you for making them...I've enjoyed all of them and am learning a lot!
    Within some of your videos, you've mentioned that you work at a sheet metal fabrication house. Does your company build custom parts? What's the name of your fabrication company, and does it have a website?

    Are there standard gusset dimensions (width, depth, draft, fillets, etc..) that sheet metal fabrication companies use or recommend to help reduce gusset costs?

  • @carlosmaffessoni4638

    thanks I like your tutorials,
    but I noticed that when you added the fillets the size of the top part changed from 40mm to 30mm??
    how can that be avoided without using tangent circles in each corner then power trimming the profile away to leave the radius???

    the edge of your gusset has a small fillet all the way around. Mine is a sharp 90 degree angle. My properties are the same as yours. What do you think is the problem ?

    • @tadaspaskauskas5076

      Just press on gusset fillet icon where it shows 1.00 mm

    • @dwaynecadguy1897
      @dwaynecadguy1897 2 роки тому

      while you are in the sheet metal gusset command below inner corner fillet click the gusset icon to the left of the greyed out dimension of 1.00 mm. Do the same for the outer corner fillet. Apparently this activates the fillets.

      [Nephew of Ida] Not with sheet metal in Solidworks. You need the die and stamp module of Solidworks "Premium" not Solidworks "Professional". I did this with CATIA and it is high complicated.

    You people talk too much . This tutorial could be made in 5 min but you took 12 min. It's too much boring. 1st learn how to make tutorial then make one.

      Sure, he could have made the tutorial shorter, but he was trying to explain in more detail for people who are being introduced to this for the first time. Cut the guy some slack and be grateful he's doing this for all of us.
