That rocks, Hey I heard of a De'Armond FHCH Pickup which is designed speficially for the L7 in order to compensate for its really low clearance.

@@jazzguitarwithandy Yes it's basically a slightly thinner version of hte Rhythm Chief 1100 that's designed speficially for Guitars w/ Low String Clearance such as the L7 & it should work

gibson L7 and you didnt put flat wound strings on it????? fret scraping galore my friend, its like taking a chainsaw to the mona lisa!. restring and re-record what other wise would have been awesome and enjoyable video! tut tut.

It came with flats and I prefer. Flats didn't even exist when this guitar was made.
