Since you're using DS, here's a much easier way to get the scale outline. Duplicate scale image, select the duplicate, then click on the "contour" tool (bottom right of ds screen). You can then click on all the inside scale lines which will deselect them and they won't cut... or click the "hide all contours" button then click on the outline so it will cut. Clear as mud? :) hth

Can you recommend what vinyl companys that you purchase from?
when you upload your image, you can delete the pieces you don't want and vice versa. That will give you scales that you can delete or weld possibly. I don't use the cricut much
Was just wondering, can you use plastic tumblers with any of your styles of tumblers??
Do you have to spray it with acrylic spray like you do with mod podge?
For this one, it isn't necessary, if the glitter mixes, it's not a big deal

Etsy is filled with scale SVG’s.
Beautiful but I feel like there’s so much wasted glitter that was covered up by spray paint.
You can always make your designs bigger so there will be more peek a boo 😊
That’s what usually keeps me from attempting peekaboo tumblers. If I ever attempt one, the designs are gonna have to be pretty big.

Newbie here. After glittering Why do you turn off the tumbler after 2 hours and allow to air dry the rest of the time? What would happen if the tumbler turns the whole time it dries?

i was like i KNOW she knows there are bumps on that cup. (from the beginning picture) i said there's no way she didn't do this perfect!
I think you could put a large square behind the scales and use the slice function to create that same shape. Then you'd just need to remove the outer part.
You could also just use the contour tool to eliminate the inner cut lines.

Does your respirator have to to be full face for epoxy ?
It depends. If the epoxy bothers your eyes, then use full face. But keep in mind, even if you don’t feel an immediate reaction doesn’t mean it isn’t bothering you.
