The Kitchen Sink // Tacoma Truck Camper Renovation #9
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 вер 2024
- The truck camper is inching closer and closer to being complete. In this episode we reattach the jacks, test the viability of our rotten corner repair, finish the cabinets, add drawers, install a kitchen sink, and add a copper faucet! This one's a doozy.

Its so close to being done! The splashback & the tap are perfect & I always knew I would find a use for my sawdust collection one day!
Love your faucet!
Whoa! That entire vid was entertaining fun and educational. Not only are you both really talented, but you've got your Dad there to lend a hand or addl brain power.
I love it when Tara’s behind the camera...😄
Me too!! I like how she mixes it up with production videos as well as insects and wildlife!!
The thumbnail picture of you looks like Jared Leto in Blade Runner!!! :-)
Cool idea on the faucet with the bent corrugated copper pipe!
It’s been working out so far 🤞
Pretty back splash, nice job, Tara. Love your faucet! Mary💕Fred
Can't believe neither of you made a kinky joke about that copper pipe! Looked slick tho!
Haha, missed opportunities 🤷♂️
Woot! Gorgeous y'all ✨💯✨👍
That is one schlickety sclick video with some jammin' jams. Keep them up!
Thank you kindly 😁
That is going to be a "really rad rig"! Love the funk jams!!!
Great job guys.
You guys are hilarious
Single serving fruit cup containers for the win. I save those things and use them for all kinds of projects! Currently using one to put glue in so I can paint it carefully into place.
I was watching your vid and the cats heard your voice...they’re looking for another camper to redo.😻
The Rattles, can you see the witch.
I don’t get the reference but I don’t mind the song lol.
@@BackcountryBanterthe music you were playing reminded me of it thats all!
Nice drawers 😉 looking good but 🤔 hmm are you sure about faucet? Most RV's have thinner tubing, might be too much volume of water. I'm on edge of seat waiting for next video. 👍🏻
It has actually worked pretty well so far! The foot pump required 0.5” interior diameter tubing so that’s what we had to use. The faucet is wider but with the foot pump controlling the pressure it puts out a nice amount of water.
@@BackcountryBanter Very cool, looking forward to a demo.
Can I borrow Tara for a few projects around the house? (... asking for a friend)
which drawer is skittles drawer it's the deep one innit
Hi! Just finished watching your 2015 CDT thru hike. Sorry I'm behind on your adventures but very happy to have discovered your channel. I hope you don't mind a question. On much of your hike it appears you have your camera (not sure if you used a camera or a smart phone for your CDT videos) on some sort of an extension, rather than in your hand. Did you mount it on one of your treking poles? If not, what type of extension did you use? Thank you. I look forward to watching many of your other videos and have subscribed!
It’s a trekking pole adapter called a stickpic. They’re great!
@@BackcountryBanter Very cool. Thanks so much!
it would be easier to fill the copper pipe with sand and bend it
If we had a way to cap the ends it might have but we had no way to do that (or any sand) so ice was more convenient this time.
I dont like sand
So strange, how can someone not like the video??? People are so shitty
How much does the camper weigh?
