Tips for the Tron player: you side out Capsize against Stompy, Electrickery is also debatable for the cut post-board given how many x/2s they have. Arrows can also be inefficient. The matchup, as it is evident from the games, revolves around buying time with Fogs to start Teachings for more Fogs and finally Thunder to the dome. I am not sure about it, but I believe that red Tron list does not play Ghostly Flicker, which would help in estabilishing a lock with two Mnemonic Walls plus Moment's Peace. The matchup's slightly unfavourable for Murasa Tron anyways, given how clunky it can be with its colored mana sources early on, which gets preyed upon by Stompy's fast starts. Anyways. I hope you'll give Pauper more room in the future with other videos, and hopefully not just because Pauper side-event have been announced recently. The format is legitimately diverse and interesting.
These should be close to their lists Tron (the two main variants of tron are listed under here the list that is automatically showing at the moment is essientially his list) www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/pauper-wubrg-42991#paper Stompy www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/pauper-stompy-22958#paper
It seems to me that Groundswell dropped out of use in Stompy for Elephant Guide... did players decide it was strictly better due to the token? E-Guide just seems like counterspell bait? :-D
Groundswell gets countered by 4 more cards in Delver decks than Elephant Guide. Also land drops aren't consistent in Stompy which might have something to do with the decision to cut it.
I am so happy about pauper on vs series!
Todd Stevens with the classic "Still had all these" after every win.
