I use this exact scope for competitions and hunting! The PR2 Mill reticle has become very popular for fast tracking. It’s a perfect choice and worth the money. I would avoid buying cheap scopes on Amazon. Leupold scopes are made in USA 🇺🇸 so that’s a plus!
Nice setup. I’m actually looking at a mark 5 for my Seekins. A little tip if you want a bigger bolt knob Area 419 has an adapter for a defiance action that fit and knob. But again nice setup
I have it with H59 reticle, when i wanted zeroing it from close range i was running out of windage.. than I installed vx-6hd 4-24x52 and i had no problems about windage .. another issue was in the low magnifications .. im almost can’t seen the reticle specially in the dark areas .. have no single problems with vx6
Rob, I have been loving the content, especially the 6mm ARC. You have even inspired me to start reloading for it. As a newbie I think it would be cool to do a video reviewing pressure signs and what to look out for. My latest development was with 112gr match burners w/ CFE223 (I know its not the favorite but was easily available) and CCI 400 primers. I had 4 powder chargers (29.2, 29.5, 29.8, and 30.0gr) but I hit over 2700fps (same 22" barrel) at 29.5gr and one of the primers was cratered. I stopped because I didn't know if 1 cratered primer was a red flag or if it just sometimes happens. What are your thoughts?
I've had issues with the cci 400 primer in 6 arc. Have actually pierces a few of them. I would be cautious pushing past primer cratering because it will likely lead to pierced or blown primers. If you have some other primers available I would try those. I've had good luck with #41 and cci450.
Too much magnification nothing that powerful is necessary the more you zoom in the less chances of you watching the bullet splash, I shoot a mile in 20 power.
Awesome scope. Bug Leupold fan here.
