TCA Crossroads: A Structured Approach to Risk and Impact Analysis

Co-hosts David and Dave discuss a concept called risk and impact analysis. David Friedman provides a simple yet structured analysis of risk and impact and how entrepreneurs can to use this tool to build their business and how investors can use this tool in working with potential investments in the Due Diligence process to de-risk an investment. The simple goal is to a priori understand the various risks using the acronym PESTEL to categorize risk and break the risk into bite size and more manageable components. Then working together, they can develop a plan to reduce the risk, impact or both. At least it can lay out a strategic and tactical plan to that end.
