I wonder how many of us giving negative comments on Bono's humanitarian work have ever done something to help just one person. I think if I had a chance to go to school, survive HIV or malaria or benefit in any way from Bono's work I would never care about his motive. It's so easy to criticize and normally those who do the least talk the most. If you have a better idea for solving the enormous problems in the world well don';t just stand there talking. I think that U2 is the best band of all time. Bono is one of the driving forces of the band. I appreciate him using his celebrity to try to make the world a better place! U2 combines beautiful, haunting, poetic lyrics with thoughtful ballads as well as just plain ROCK AND ROLL!

how many people can say that they have a big heart? I am well aware that I do but i have no money to show it, yes. I help in small ways when i have extra outside of my bills, and i have things i need. yes. But most times i have nothing but myself, my humor, my encouragement to give to people who mean a lot to me that have given me the same things in return.
Music has therapeutic qualities...the ability to ease pain, depression, etc. Who knows how many people have been emotionally uplifted by their music? It's impossible to gauge, but their fanbases suggests that many people have.

The same with interviews. So if it is prescribed, it is understandable. He's always in the 'spotlight' to begin with and I'm glad he uses his celebrity status to draw attention to the bad things some live with. People get tired of him preaching but his heart is in the right place.
I bought one of their shirts. I paid $50.00 I used it to mow my grass and ripped it. They are not strong T-shirts. but the are comfortable. I could never find another one like it to replace it.
