Father God give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. At times I want to give up but I know Jesus has and will protected me and my sons from homelessnes. Fear is from the devil I will keep faith no matter what. 💕

This is gold! This is Godly Wisdom.. let us pray for the courage to have the self will to take the path to escape the way of Sin. I fear grieving GOD’s heart thinking of all the past times He had to look upon me sinning. What a gracious GOD giving us escape, keep our eyes on Christ! 🕊🙏🏼

If you want a goldmine of contradictions to work through, look up Non-Stamp Collector’s videos (especially the quiz show episode). He is a witty guy that found probably every area where people have issues with the Bible.
I believe a lot of it can be reconciled, but I’ve yet to find a solid enough Bible teacher to do so.

Yes, it is so obvious - that the Christian can sin and go to hell. The doctrine of The Perseverance of the Saints is a lie. Please "don't be deceived" as Pastor Tim says.
There indeed are many "professing Christians" who perish because they were not truly saved. Jesus says to them in Matthew 7:21 that he NEVER knew them. @@illbehonest Yes, there are Scriptures, like Matthew 7:21 which speak of "professing Christians" .... of which today there are many.
However, there are even more Scriptures indicating that a true born-again believer can "fall from grace" "depart from the faith" and be "severed from Christ." A true believer is indeed called, nay commanded, to endure to the end .... indicating he must make every effort to endure .... rather than assume he will automatically do so.
Jesus Himself clearly stated that true believers ("branches" "in Christ" vitally attached to the Vine) could be "cut off" from the Vine by the Father and later be thrown into the fires of hell .... if they do not continue to abide in Christ and keep His commandments (John 15:1-10).
I do believe in eternal security ... that we are kept by the power of God, safe in His care, and that no one can snatch us from His hand ... IF we continue in the faith, and in obedience to God's commands. However, thank you for directing me to the study on this issue ... I am always willing to listen to opinions from the 'other side.'

@@jeffgccsatx Thanks Jeff. Yes, that is how the Bible has always appeared to me. Salvation is by grace alone, and God will faithfully keep His people to the end PROVIDED they continue to abide in Christ and keep His commandments (John 15:1-10).
At one time - that is what I thought you believed .... and then Pastor Tim kept stating "but, of course, we, as Calvinists, believe in "The Perseverance of the Saints."
I am sorry, but I still find that confusing - and so do those who make comments here.
We need help in understanding this.
All the Calvinists who comment on YT are adamant that true Christians CANNOT lose their salvation - because they believe in "The Perseverance of the Saints" (the "P" of the T.U.L.I.P. acronym). Non-Calvinists believe in OSAS .... but it is the same thing.
The "P" of the T.U.L.I.P. clearly states that a person who has been chosen (or predestined for heaven) before the foundation of the world (the "U" of the T.U.L.I.P.) WILL persevere to the end. Once you believe in the "U" .... the "P" automatically follows.
I know you have tried to explain this to me before .... but maybe (as a non-Calvinist) I am just too thick to grasp it. Can you please clarify the following:
[1] The "P" definitely states that a person CANNOT lose their salvation - if they were truly born again.
Therefore, you and Pastor Tim would have to deny the truth of this doctrine (as I do). So would that make you and Pastor Tim 4-point Calvinists?
[2] Denying the "P" of the T.U.L.I.P. and believing that it is possible to forfeit one's salvation... would then mean that salvation is conditional. If that were so - then the "U" of the T.U.L.I.P. must also be denied and the other petals then start to fall from the flower. So would that make you and Pastor Tim 3-point Calvinists?
If you disagree with my conclusion (and I am merely a simple female Christian who tries to use logic to analyse doctrines) ... then could you please explain (simply) where I am wrong. Thank you and God bless you Jeff.
