Don't sleep on the 6% cast speed per non-instant spell cast recently. At the bare minimum it is 6% cast speed for 1 point because you are always casting your main ability but most caster builds are casting more than 1 spell i.e. movement spells like flame dash, curses, marks, other supports such as tornado, OoS, etc
It was hard to narrow things down tbh, but the chests won out on meme value alone (and also because if the radius is generous they could actually make you a LOT of money).
@@Tenkiei that was my biggest concern with the mastery. Nearby can mean 20 units or 120. If you need to basically be on top of the chest it’s garbage; if the range is good we will be seeing videos of MBs and mirrors popping out within a week
for most builds yeah it's like 18% which is not bad, although we will be getting a fair bit of cast speed just from arcane surge on movement skill now so idk how worthwhile it will be in practice. I do think the caster masteries as a whole could use some work, most of them feel way too niche and I can see a lot of caster builds just skipping all of them because nothing applies to their build.
@@rein7046 18% cast speed for 1 point is a massive amount. Even if you were only getting 6% that is still pretty decent value. What I will likely do is take the 25% chests while mapping and swap to the cast speed for bossing or difficult content and I will definitely be using it for leveling.
On the topic of Snipe gem....how about an Burning Arrow Ignite Elementalist with Snipe Support? Throw enough ignite duration to reach stage 6 within the ignite duration for some nasty ignites and Ignite Prolif + Herald of Ash explosions, I can see it being quite good
@@JEASOUA Burning Arrow has way better scaling specific to ignites. Might want to get your hands on Divergent Burning Arrow for Inherent Pierce. Also aim for as much flat ele damage as possible to abuse its high damage effectiveness so probably going for a Solarine Bow from Heist would be the best choice with added Flat Fire from Essences. Attack speed doesn't really matter as long as you have enough ignite duration that you can comfortably channel to stage 6. Anything else should be a typical Fire Dot build. @@electricheart7965 thinking about making this my second/third build with the "50% chance to refresh ignite duration on crit" fire mastery comboed with galvanic field w/ duration and crit chance supports on shaper of flames/storms ele, with berek's for clear. probably not though, i'll probably get sidetracked and want to make a new build every time i get a half-decent crucible tree on a good base lol
@@youradhere3476 yee, been thinking of trying something similar. It should play similarly to WoC Ignite + Scourge Arrow without the problems of both (range and slow wace speed + weird placement to hit all shards) but will have to see what weapons I will find etc.
Sadly my forbidden rite pathfinder with loreweave+transcendence and damage taken as x pathfinder has most of his points on the right side of the talent tree, the new "Armour and Energy Shield Mastery"s 10% Damage taken as Chaos and 10% Armour applies to Chaos Damage Taken, would have been insane for defense...
Don't think so, honestly, as pathing to any notable that'd allow you to allocate it feels pretty inefficient. 4 points for an extra arrow and some attack speed seems rough. But if you *are* picking up an attack wheel, then this is great for expeditions.
For attack builds that are doing difficult non boss content such as similacrum, yes. A lot of enemies have block. But normally you don't care since trash mobs die easy.
My fave is protection mastery that prevents you from damaging alignments if you already have one. Works like charm on RF.
My favorite is the Recoup one.
The first new defensive mechanic GGG tries to expand so that it is viable outside a few niche scenarios like Ward Loop.
The claw leech mastery is a massive buff to venom gyre

As a comparison the whole Mental Rapidity cluster is only 18% for 3 nodes and that is a cast speed cluster.

Mirage Archer.

No. Recoup is not regen.
