Wakfu OST - Vampyro / Princess Lela (Boss Battle)

An track that stands out a lot among the several others that generally follow the general style of Wakfu music, Vampyro's theme just goes and adds an electric guitar with some really fast drums, one of the best boss battle themes, not only because of how it sounds, but you can't deny this fits an intense battle perfectly.
This is the second battle theme that was created for Vampyro, the previous one you might remember was released in the Wakfu webpage's audio section and never actually used in-game, but repurposed for Wakfu: Les Gardiens' boss theme, it's very similar to this one in that it's a very fast paced battle theme with an electric guitar leading it, so despite the melody being repurposed for Kelba, the essence that made it Vampyro's theme remained there.
His battle is simple, it's just a lvl 80 boss, he will blind you if you're looking at him, push you around aiming to throw you into the death cells, and sometimes use you as a sacrifice making you subject to his altar in the middle of the battlefield.
Every hit he receives has a chance of not damaging him but instead acting as a heal, and when you make him reach 1hp, he will eliminate all of your summons and start going on a berserk rampage for a whole turn, before perishing on his own right after.
Now , this theme was reused in two places, one i can assure you wasn't thought out that much, it's just a short sequence in Wabbit island's main quest where you deactivate a bomb, it goes nicely, but it's not worth showcasing much.
The other place did release alongside Forfut presumably, because it's part of Amakna, the Miss Ugly Tower dungeon previously found in Holey Forest, with the same importance as Vampyro, both places and bosses being featured in their respective episodes in the series, but Miss Ugly didn't get the same special treatment sadly, not only was Vampyro's theme reused here but the dungeon is also long gone so the footage here comes from this video:

Huge thanks to these guys because not only are they part of the like 1% of people who recorded this game with music turned on, but also without tactical view, speeding it up or nuking it in 1 turn, plus it's fairly high quality.
So i'm pretty happy with what was saved of that boss battle, you can see pretty much everything, the attacks Lela did, the poses, and the living wardrobes that were only present in this one room, because this is the Toad dungeon technically, outside and in the first three rooms you'd have to face the frogs before reaching Lela, in rooms inspired by what was seen in the series aswell.
Thankfully something remains of the Miss Ugly dungeon, not counting the tower itself that is present almost out of sight in the current version of Emelka forest in Amakna, but the battle theme that was created for this particular dungeon is still in the game, being used for battles with small enemies instead:

It's taken almost straight up from the series' OST, and it got arranged for Wakfu: Les Gardiens too for the chapter corresponding to the episode they appear in, i really wish they can make a comeback into the game someday.
They as in, both the toads and all of the princesses, Lela was the only boss here but in WLG it's all 4 of them, and the game nowadays isn't a stranger to dungeons with 4 bosses at once, just look at the Supervillain's Lair, it's a one room dungeon with Merkator, Decepticod, Lardevil and Kralaman attacking you all at once, it's pretty fun.
Extra fact that i'm actually not too sure about, since the nations got reworked around 2018, and with them dissapeared the toads and their stuff, there was presumably an archmonster and horde leader for the family of toads, as for pretty much every other overworld family of monsters, the horde leadear was a red prancing chimera, but the archmonster was a particular one, it was actually the first and only instance of a Mopy from Dofus appearing in Wakfu, one of those strange graveyard creatures with a hood covering their body (white-yellow-ish colored in this case), only showing glowing eyes and skeletal hands.
Weird pick to pair with the frogs honestly, but it's a shame that it got removed so quickly, i never got to see it so i can really only tell you what i've heard and partially seen in this case.

Well they just announced the revivall of the miss Ugly tower into a "new" 3 player dungeon :'D

I did this one fairly recently with a female Xelor (I'm a male Eniripsa in the game), and we kept laughing so much because my Eni got more attention from him than the Xelor.
It was even better when we lost, the game glitched and I remained alive in the room with him, alone, while the Xelor had to go and revive in a phoenix. It was so silly.
I must say, my Eniripsa looks quite feminine, so maybe Vampyro got confused?
