God loves you what Father would give his only Son Jesus Christ to die for you and me if he didn't love us so much and want us to live with him forever? Just ash Jesus into your heart and life and mean it and you will be saved.
Oh, Mike...it's so simple....you just ask. "God, I want to know you. Help me. Come into my heart. Change what needs changed. Let me feel Your love." He literally let his Son pay for whatever wrong you may have done. All you have to do is accept that payment on your behalf. If those words are coming from your heart your life will change. My own prayer was something like: "Oh God, if you don't help me I'm going to die...You know what I need.....help me!"
For God so loved the world, (and you, Mike) that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever would believe in him would be saved. Talk to Him. Tell him that you want to know him. Believe that he loves you because he says he does...A simple, but sincere prayer is all that is needed. The most sincere and simple prayer will do if you really mean it. The one I've hear that I like best is: "O' God, if there is a God, save my soul (Mind/Will/Emotions) if I have a soul.....You DO have a Soul! If you mean it....he hears and wipes your slate clean and you start walking with Him. Try visiting some churches until you find one where you feel comfortable and accepted and are well taught.....Praying you will soon know God's peace and feel his love for you!
