I’ve had my Super Meteor for one year now, with no problems. It’s a great bike. Good video, but annoying background music.
Looks to be a lovely modern cruiser and being old school and prefer the mid foot controls and am eagerly waiting for the Shotgun to be released into Australia.
I waiting to see if the used market acquires a stock of these bikes. Doesn't seem worth the nearly 10k dealers soak you for after all their extra charges. I do like it though.
What is the highway speed???
Vi outto vídeo da SM 650, ela tem muito ruído vindo do câmbio quando em movimento em baixa velocidade
I`m glad to see that Indian bikes are performing well in the US. Hope americans enjoy it as much as we do ❤
I bought mine a couple weeks ago. I love the way it rides/handles. The seat is comfortable, the handle bars are just right and the brakes are excellent.
Royal Enfield is British, not Indian.
It's dna is British
@@VenomM778 If it was not for the Indian company Eicher buying Royal Enfield, RE wouldn't exist today
As of today it is an Indian company and will be in the future, even if it roots were British. It is an Indian company now. So Royal Enfield is Indian even if it's dna/roots are British.
And don't hate an Indian company owning a British Brand , Honestly it's doing a great job.
@@VenomM778 RE stopped manufacturing and selling their bikes in the uk or abroad after the 1960s It was only sold in India , It became a exclusive Indian brand serving only Indians. Sorry bud it is an Indian brand ,look it up in Google.
You can't even see volvo as a Chinese company but it is, because they sell volvos around the world. Not restricted only to china , if it was then it would become a Chinese car meant ONLY for the Chinese people.
@@VenomM778 IM SORRY YOU FEEL JEALOUS OF INDIA GROWING BACK AS A SUPERPOWER AS IT WAS BEFORE STINKY BRITS AND MUGHALS RUINED IT. "Royal Enfield is British, not Indian. It's dna is British"🤓🤓
The pillon seat is small. Can i install topbox?
Thank you we have now the Super Meteor 650 in the Philippines
I spotted on one super meteor video intro-a bright lemon yellow colored 650's fuel tank! Was that a custom paint job, or, is it available from the dealer? I would like my 650 to be unique as possible without compromising the quality of the bike! Doug
Given that its a cruiser I bet it's not good for going off road right? (duh I know but since its made in india I thought that perhaps it could handle mild off road terrain). hmmm maybe I'll just go for the int 650.
Just one issue of chain sprocket is there snd if you are from india then brake pads are also bit expensive
You can use the front break pads of meteor 350...same ones
I've had my 650 for 6 weeks: first: it's not $6.999!!!! in Arizona with the "dealer Prep and delivery cost it was $10,500 out the door then at 300 miles you have to take it back in for it's first service which was another $500 so at 300 miles I was at $11,000
Second: you can't "test" ride one to see how it feels or anything, you've heard the old saying buying a pig in poke. maybe no one let's you test ride a bike anymore. Third: there's no place to even store the reg. or insurance card (the dealer said you could put in the side by the tools but he couldn't get it in there either)
some REAL things you should know this bike is fun to ride, but watch trying to turn it around on a narrow street or in a two car garage drive way it's wheel base and weight makes it want to lay down and it's not at all smooth like all these so called reviews claim I've had to take it back in to have the rear shocks adjusted and I've done it twice myself maybe at 3,000 mile it will smooth out
the things I do like is you don't get all the engine and road vibration at the handle grips, the engine runs smooth the seat is comfortable and I found a set of saddle bags on Amazon for $250 the bolted right on the foot pegs are set great for me I have the blue and white one and I love it
knowing all that I know now would I buy it again YES, I like the overall feel , the sound and gauges
The rear shocks do smooth out around 2k miles. Be prepared to buy some after market rear shocks to get the best fit. The front shocks are good, the rears not so much. Sounds like your dealer is over pricing on both the bike and service.
@@TXLorenzo thanks for reply 1,090 and i still love riding it maybe it will smooth out some
Eleventh thing to know about the SM650; you couldn't spend more money for a slower motorcycle, well over 500 pounds and way less than 50 horsepower. Too anemic ....
If we could afford Indian Scouts, we would ride those instead. Until their marketing department puts down the crack pipe, however…
Have you rode one?
