Heya Tadpoles~ 🐸💚
It has been a while since I’ve done a proper cover~ Not only was this song a request from one of my patrons, Questionable Content, but I also fell in love with the emotion of this song after having the opportunity to watch the third Made in Abyss film on the night’s premiere. (Shoutout to @Mr.Goatee for hosting! )
I felt a lot of emotions while recording this song. I thought back to Riko, Reg, & best girl Nanachi’s story progression in the film and remembered the emotions felt while watching those scenes. I thought back to personal things that unfortunately happened in my life recently that brought out those genuine feelings of sadness and grief. I can’t help but admit I ended up falling in love with this song and everything the lyrics stand for. I hope you guys can hear the passion I put into this one.
I’m still taking vocal lessons and am trying to improve everyday for you guys and myself, but I still have a long way to go in terms of having a full “head” sound like what I used for this cover. Regardless, I hope you all can enjoy this as I poured my soul into it~ ❤
